But can u tell me what is a HYBRId OS. is it like installing multiple OS on the same device? what is the advantage/disadvantage of installing Hyb OS. Also which version will u recommend for Hyb. I saw some exe files for Hybr, since i am not sure how it works, i ignored it and went for 418. I experienced the same problem which u mentioned. Hope BB release the official version soon

The 418 have cursor problem too, when u scroll down the trackpad the cursor suddenly gone, it will back when u move to right/left or by click shift. Not a big deal and more stable than 380.

U can download for the Hybrid OS in www.bbbluezone.com but u hev to register first, so far there are only 3 Hybrids OS for curve 3G, they are :
- Sections One Tunning Edition 6 base OS 6.0.0.344
- Hybrid OS Keplerboldy v.1 by bbboldy base 6.0.0.344
-Sections One Tornado Edition base OS 5.0.593

Keag, 13 Dec 2010Does anyone know how to upgrade to OS6? I'm being told that... moreThere's no official OS 6 launch yet but u can try the leaked version or hybrid. So far I tried 2 leaked version OS 6.380 & 6.418 but next i will try the hybrid one from section one or Keplerboldy. It's easy to upgrade uR device, first u need to download the OS first, just googling it, install at uR PC or Laptop then dont forget to delete Vendor.xml (u can find it at C\program files\common files\RIM\app loader) then after delete that file my suggestion is that you have to shrink the OS so u can have more free memory space. I shrink my OS with Shrink A OS software and I get 97 MB from 167MB the original OS, but better u should read carefully for how to shrink it. Just uncheck the unwanted program and it will be deleted (dont worry it can be put back) when u load the OS to uR device. Before install, dont forget to back up uR data through DM or with BBSAK- Blackberry Swiss Army Knife/JL Commnder for the apps n then wipe the device until error 507 show up on uR bb screen, dont panic it's just the procedure when u upgrade OS(I use JL Commander or BBSAK) so the device will clean from errors. then run the loader.exe.Just follow the instruction until finished.Good Luck & dont forget to pray first before :D DWYOR

I have this handled 1 month ago and i love this bb model. Today, I upgrade my device to OS 6.418 leaked version and it looks great, better than previous leak OS version but still have battery problem, but it's ok so far, all my aplicattion run well in the background, OS 6 is awesome!!! The default browser can multitab so we dont need to install another 3rd party app, and load so fast, even the camera is only 2MP, the result will be better when u upgrade it to OS 6, more sharp & brighter, overall 9300 is worthed to buy.

there is big diff in price is it worh to pay more fr the bold 9700 ??

You can NOT make video calls with any of BB handsets. None of them has a secondary camera(not even Torch) & they do NOT support video calling.

I got mine 2 weeks ago and I love it so much! I upgraded my BB to OS 6..it's pretty neat but nothing too special..but I love it just the same! I just don't know how am I be able to download themes that would be compatible with OS 6!
