Yes what is a penta band chip.. all I care that my 9780 performs great... it sends/receive email, has social networking app, chat app, and a good and stable internet conection...

My self Ravi Parmar and I am from jamnagar(gujarat-india) bought BB Curve 3G and tell u guys this phone is awesome only one problem is its battery life, otherwise its better then others. I'm using 2G but browsing speed is pretty good. If anyone using BB pls guys send me ur PIN numbers so I can add u in BB msnger

@Anonymous Could you tell us what are you looking for when your asking about the penta-band chip? What is the big deal if it has it or not? its a phone not a rocket launcher!

Great device, but one little question, Does this use a Penta Band Chip? I know the Torch and Bold 9700 had rumours surrounding them that they were using the penta band chip and well apparently also the Pearl 3G and Curve 3G are using this penta chip. Anyone else learn or know anything about the Penta Chip in the Bold 9700, Curve 3G, Pearl 3G, or the BB Torch?

i got mine the day b4 by what i have used so far..its simply a great phone.. .. if you are looking for anything else other than gr8 pics its all in there.. and really good music player n gr8 output thru headset..but the battery life is not really good but its ok for everything rlse what it gives is good..

Well i have on my hands!!! its a fast device!!! nice pictures, you can watch youtube on 3g!!! loads very very fast. ok no flash but you better buy a camera for that, this its a cell phone!!! Very Very happy

i think this is more up grade than blackberry 8520,2nd option for who those people want have really smartphone on low price. and for @pak you can access to option-profile-set vibrate for bbm or receiving email,etc
