ndra, 23 Aug 2010I thing the 9300 really expensive in indonesia it cost 3825... more@ndra, the curve 9300 is still sold through private importers in Indonesia, which means price will fluctuates greatly. Even iPhone 4 when first sold by private importers reached Rp. 14 Million. So wait until it's officially launched in Indonesia with a real price tag, personally I'm expecting the Curve 3G to be worth around Rp 2.8 - 3 Million.

You just need to wait for the release date. Or read a blog dedicated to BlackBerry phones, like CrackBerry.com or BBLEAKS. Just check them out. GSM Arena is a universal site, which is why it shows different manufacturers and carriers.

i just bought this phone. i found out its' OS is v5 meanwhile on GSMarena it is mentioned the OS to be v6, how it can be ? i have checked online to RIM, currently there no other version of OS other than installed version in the phone. i learned, this phone is possible to be upgraded up to v6 OS. checked with the cellular operators, they even do not its' OS file yet. anybody, please comment, thanks.

This phone cannot compare to BB8900 in any feature, for except 3G. RIM needs to be more innovative with upgrades; or shall we call them Rest in Motion?

[deleted post]I got this phone without contract from Telus Moblity (Canada). They charge CAD$329+tax.

However, I believe you can get this for cad$79.00 with a 3 year contract - which I'd say is not bad at all.

If you are getting this in the US, it would probably go for $275-$300. I'm quite content having paid full price for this phone, cause I know in a years time I'm getting another new one (since I'm currently halfway a 3yr contract). Even so... this phone is great - I will not be thinking about replacing it in the near future.

I got the phone over the weekend, and had the network set up just yesterday. It's an awesome phone, i'd say.

The main reason why I chose this phone is because of it's frequency. My main provider runs CDMA tech along with the hspa 3G. With this phone, having the quad-band GSM frequency will enable and easy transfer (without changing) phones to another (GSM) provider, and if I ever plan to go visit my country (Philippines) I can definitely use this phone.

With regards to functionality, I believe it's similar to the newly released phones of BB. It's very light, even adding skins on it - it's still very light.

                              I like it.

i don't care about the specs, all i need is a 3g connection, blackberry messenger and a blackberry OS 6. This phone will only be my 'chatting/texting' phone, while x10 will remain as my primary phone.
