internet services would not work with wi-fi unless you have your BIS activated.

Spicy, U should know that for upgrading the battery life for any device that U brought, 8 hours is necessary for charging the battery and that has to be repeated three times, outside of this way U won't get a good battery life......

vishwas , 13 Jun 2010I purcahsed the BB curve 8520 two days before and took the ... moreits very simple. all u need to do is go to the instructions on setting up email accounts n bb messenger. if the web browser still doesnt work u need to call the airtel guys... ur phone will display EDGE in capital...

I purcahsed the BB curve 8520 two days before and took the internet connection of AIRTEL but after 48 hrs since i had not receive any internet settings i contacted airtel Excutive officer he told me that my internet connections are already being activated. Then i contacted BB executive, all the guys told me that i could not access internet on my 8520 untill i took the BB services. Till now i got very irritated and i am still unable to surf internet in my mobile, if anybody can help me pls help me out vishwas lko

Are there applications permitting U to watch online or download videaos on Youtube? Also are there applications permitting faste mp3 downloading?

hi.got this phone yesterday. this is a downgrade for me from Javelin to Curve. On 8520 I dont see the red Asterix(*) indicator for emails received except for the common message box. Can this be activated to show the (*) for all the mail boxes.
Please help.

[deleted post]All handsets have an IMEI 15 digit number which you can ring your Service Provider if the phone is stolen and they can block it. Usually it is under the battery plate or you can do *#06# to get it on the display screen. Howevern, if your phone has been stolen & you didn't take a note of the IMEI number it is usually on the label on the box it came in. Good luck

I've had this phone for over a week now and love it.
I got it free with contract renewal and some points and so far no complaints. Very intuitive, elegant and easy to work. Great device. Mind you I don't use it for browsing the internet and wasn't looking for too many gimmicks as I'm not overly dependent on my cell phone. I do love that all my various emails get forwarded to this and each has it's own sepearate icon.

I had this phone after BB pearl 8110 I have to admit the curve is a positive step forward I can't wait to try the bold. I was most impressed when I transferred data from the pearl to curve RIM did a fantastic job.. almost every letter i typed was transferred along with calls, messages and emails. Despite its less specs than nokia e72 i think the gap is still big between BB and e series thanks BB
