If you still can't, then I would do a reboot (pull battery for 10 seconds and put it back in) and then try again.
Also, if you can't Blackberry.com directly on your device and download it from there.

Spicy, 08 Jun 2010This blackberry handset is wonderful but the battery LIFE S... moreDo you leave apps, BT, wifi or anything else running in the background? Press and hold Menu and see which apps are running. You should only have 5 core apps running (phone, web, bbm, messages and home) If you have anything else running, make sure you open them and close them. The End button minimizes apps so try and use the Back button or press Menu and select Close from within the app itself.
To turn of wifi or BT when not in use, go to menu>manage conections and make sure you have them unchecked. I get about 1 day and a half out of mine with heavy usage. I don't use wifi though.

And to download WLM and other apps like that provided by RIM, you need BIS activated. Talk to your carrier for info.

This blackberry handset is wonderful but the battery LIFE SUCKS i charge it like 4 times a day choops I'm not satisfied with the service damn

to downloadthemes you go to blackberry app world on your phone and select categories, themes and select the one you would prefer and then download. then go to options on your phone then themes and select install.

hi.. id like to get a blackberry phone tied up with a telecommunications company. i know it is wifi ready, i wanted to make sure that can use the wifi and surf the net free of charge or am i liable to be charged by the telecommunications company. i heard a friend said, even if there is wifi she is still charged whenever she surfs. hoping for a response. thanks.
