onesmartwoman, 05 Jun 2010thanks again as usual.. u r pretty helpful. I do appreciate... moreNo prob! Always glad to help if I can ;)
Also, whenever you recieve a file you always have the option to save it anywhere you want. So if you want, you can create folders either directly from your phone or a PC and save different files in different places.

onesmartwoman, 04 Jun 2010can anyone help me with my bluetooth connection on my mobil... moreBT has beed covered a while back, but I do understand that BB's are a little more difficult than others when it comes to BT so I'll explain a bit.
For "security" BB has to have your permission every time when you recieve something, which can be good because I know of people who send pics to other phones with BT wide open. You need to add the device the your "Safe" list or whatever it's called. Just add the regular password and have them both paired up. Then, to recieve, go to Media, press menu, select Recieve using BT and there you go! Sending is much easier though, once paired, simply select the file and press menu, select Send using BT and select the paired device. Now, as for laptops, my phone didn't work with my netbook. I think it's because I use a USB BT device since it didn't have BT built in, my brother's laptop does have BT in it and sending a file took really long for some reason. So, I guess it depends on the device you want to pair it up with.

onesmartwoman, 03 Jun 2010hmmm.... so u think its wise to stick to official software???It really depends on what you feel comfortable with. I didn't want to change my OS because I wanted to wait for my carrier to release their own version, but since they never did, I went for it and, to my surpise, everthing went great. It workes, no bugs, just a few glitches at the beginning but nothing anymore. And now, I'm looking to upgrade to 5.0.0.681 from Singapore Tele.
With hyrbids, people are the same. Some know how, some don't or haven't tried it yet. I think it's the same process with one added step. I haven't done it so I can't fully recommend it. If you want to try it and can't succeed, you can always go back and keep the previous version you had and (if you made a recent backup) you won't lose any info from your phone.

i have used this such nice handset. i have upgrade this os to hybrid spiceman v.9.6. It makes my internet browsing more faster, i have free memory daily up to 105 MB, just imagine this. i have installed 19 premium application (go bible, doc2go, quick pull4, bolt browser, etc until 19 apps). no need to use 9700 as i just waste my money ;-)
