Bought BB 8520 on 9th finally, exploring the new handset as of now...services are yet to be started...
Can't I have sms inbox on my short menu??? or say can i modify (add/remove) applications/functions to/from short menu (now its message,contacts,calender, browser,media) displayed under standard active profile?
right now i have configured sms n mms on my left hand free key...
am sure i would b back to trouble you a bit more lol

Well, my friend sold his Bold. I'm still keeping my Gemini, but I don't think I'll get my plan yet. I need to decide if I'm willing to stay locked to nothing but Blackerry phones or getting a 3G plan and being free to change phones whenever I please... Looking at the Samsung Jet, iPhone 3GS or Palm Pre.

First, mark all contacts in your nokia fone then send it via bluetooth to your pc. then drag the contacts from ur pc to outlook. Then install BB device manager. Sync your BB via usb to your pc. Click sync on the BB device manager. it should be able to transfer and sync contacts from your outlook to your BB :)

This has to be done whenever you want to receive a file via bluetooth.

Also... I agree with those 'people' BB Curve 8520 is no comparison to looks n feel of E71. I have owned and used a nokia E71 so I def. agree... As for the price E71 is now priced at BB Curve 8520. When it was launced in your 'lovely country' I am sure it was as expensive as 1800-1900 RM
