JRF, 07 Dec 2009If anyone can help me I'd really appreciate it, see, my que... moreI would like believe that it should work. Since BIS is network operated and dependent. Also if the BB Bold that you are buying is an unlocked version (not bound to any specific operator) then there is absolutely no reason why it should not work.

Also you can have a quick dry run of your friends BB Bold by inserting your SIM into it and checking for your BIS services and activation. I am sure that's a time consuming procedure and a full proof one.

If anyone can help me I'd really appreciate it, see, my question is if I already have BIS on my sim card with my messenger, pin, personal and blackberry email accounts activated, can these be used on a different BB device?
See, a friend is selling his Bold and I want to buy it but I need to know if I'll be able to use the BIS service from my Gemini on it. Thanks people!

Jana , 05 Dec 2009I'm 13 years old and im thinking about getting this phone ,... moreHi, I recommend this BB to anyone of any age. This was designed for mid income/young buyers. I personally never had a BB before. The music player is great, the camera isn't the best in a world of 5/8/12 mpx cameraphones, but it takes good snapshots; easy access to social networks and IM's, of course through a data plan though.
You should check it out before buying it, usually kids these days go for eye-candy phones like the iPhone, touchscreens, but you should always try something out before buying it. I can say that this has everything you need, but if you need a good camera phone, then you would disagree. So play around with your options. If qwerty is what you need, then there are a few options for a teen: Nokia e63, e71, Samsung i637, and of course, Curve 8900 and 8520, among others.

I was wondering since it only supports 2G networks, would that make much of a difference? I really want a BB and I want this one, but if it only supporting 2G networks makes a whole lot of a difference, then I guess I'll have to find something else...

The phone is light and look cheap, but actually feels good. If you need "tactile" feedback when pushing or clicking the buttons, then you'll love this. The track pad is pretty good once you st it to your personal settings, I set it to halfway, and I love using it.

This phone is meant to compete with the E63 and it does, I absolutely love the level of customization Blackberry offers - the screen isn't isn't as good the higher priced BB's, but i managed to download a video and play it back without any problems, and music playback was great for a business phone.

Basically, its supposed to be a cheap, fun BB for the younger generation, but it has all the tools the business world needs and thats what matters most, and it works like a charm.
