Have mine now for 7 days with T-Mobile USA. whatever was wrong with the Curve 8300 has been addressed with the 8900 and more. The screen is superb. The speed is fast - real fast. Processing a pleasure. Now i can email multiple emails with photo attachments and they all go thru!! no kidding. UMA service from T-Mobile the best and this is without a doubt the most important reason I remain a loyal customer. After 7 days my thoughts of "maybe that iphone' are put to rest. Rim you lead the world. Great stuff.

I've had this phone for about 3 months so far, through Rogers in Canada. I upgraded from a BB8320 and cannot say enough good things about this unit. The Operating System is IMO flawless, and like all blackberry's, it may not be the flashiest tool in the shed, but boy does it ever get the job done! Zero lagging, no need to ever reset, it just works. Obviously in comparison with the Bold it lacks 3G, but I personally own both units and find myself carrying the 8900 around with my most of the time. It feels so much better, the keyboard is must more functional IMO, and the browser speed is sufficient with Blackberry server compression. Oh and the camera is also top notch. If your considering this as your next phone, do yourself a favor and pick it up, you wont be dissapointed!

Arjun, 15 Feb 2009the "today" theme is missing from this phone! where can i g... morethemes4bb.com will give you a fantastic range of bb themes for all kinds of blackberry devices, most are free, so avoid paying for one.you can download them OTA ( over the air )so as long as you have a data bolt on of some kind, either b/berry BIS, Enterprise or similar you shouldn't have to pay download either.
It is downloaded directly onto the phone, then just go to options, themes and select your new theme and it will auto load.

Ok, So I got the Blackberry 8900 Curve on 02/11/2009 as an upgrade from my BB 8120. What can I say? it's close to perfect. The screen is the brightest of all BB, it is the thinnest BB ever, the design is great...I can keep going but y'all got the point (I hope). So it doesn't have 3G? hmmm, I didn't even realize it...lol. Nah I'm just kidding. Stop bitching about what your phone has and does not have. Half of you wouldn't even know what to do with all the features if they were included in one phone. It's a PHONE!! Primary function of a phone... make and receive calls. So quit whining and go get you one!

MadKat, 03 Feb 20098900 Curve, no doubt about it. Best Blackberry out. 9/10, S... moreHi Madkat, I am in the market for an 8900 now. I have an E61 at present and did consider the E71. However the push email interested me. What were the most important reasons you decided to take the 8900 and not the Bold and what in your opinion if the advantages of the 8900 over the Nokia E71?
