its BB9000 except cheaper, Better phone for the price sleeker design also, It doesn't have 3G i'll admit that, Blackberry need to start focusing on giving there users applications at an accessible location like the APPLE APPSTORE

Anonymous, 27 Feb 2009how can u not have 3g?????The speed of processing web pages is so low in such smart phones that you don't see difference among edge, wifi and 3G. 3G is a commercial catch for stripping out more money from subscribers, a disaster for battery charge, overheating problems and lower data transfer than its advertised speed when you are moving faster than walk speed.

Hi, I am new to the Blackberry family. I was wondering if you would have to purchase the license in order to use the PowerPoing, Word, and Excel applications.

                    - Document editor (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF)
                    - Java

                    hi all,

i wonder whether this phone got those 2 functions above ?

because i saw BOLD has those 2 functions, but JAVELIN doesn't stated these 2 functions.

btw, is there RADIO in the blackberry ?

                    thanks in advance.

This is a complete Blackberry phone. Its got everything what a Blackberry user expects.
No other PDA, barring iPhone for various other reasons, can match up to this phone.
This is one of the phones which you would buy, and then forget about replacing it for a very long time.

I got one too and google maps don't work over wifi although you can install google maps over wifi. Further it seems that without data plan there is no chance even to see any google map using its browser, without gps location, it looks that google and tmobile are together involved in such restrictions; there are no existing preloaded maps on market for Blackberry, even Garmin for Blackberry needs data plan to connect to Garmin server to download small temporary pieces of maps.
