i've had the javelin for almost 2 months (tested for rim) im very impressed. very good camera, awesome screen, VERY good battery life(best ive seen on a blackberry, and yes i have had an 8800, 8310, 8100 and a bold9000). keyboard also feels better to me compared the keyboard on the bold, but again probably just personal preference. even with it lacking 3g, i still find download speeds very comparable to my iphone 3g! when your local gsm carrier launches the 8900, i recommend you get it!

Anybody use the keyboard on this? I tried the bold's keyboard and it's really accurate + feels receptive.

This is completely different handset than the Bold. The Bold is a larger 3G version with a lower quality camera.

Well, there is two kind of Blackberry which is on the same form that is BB Bold and Curve 8900. But actually they are on different shape (well, a lil bit different). BB Curve 8900 is also wellknown as Blackberry Javelin, a new comer from the previous Curve family which has a lot more new features and more interests. Blackberry Curve 8900 (Javelin) is defferent with Blackberry Bold and why we thought Javelin is the same Bold is maybe bcause the site hasnt adding it into them

its not a cheaper or lower version of the bold just because its 8900 instead of 9000. its the same thing except smaller, more comfortable and unfortunately no 3g.
