Auvik, 03 Dec 2008I was visiting Blackberry website but in the website the na... moreno, i'm afraid you're wrong. this is curve 8900. bold was released early this year. this curve 8900 is what most people called javelin. i admit it has quite similar look, but i guess this curve 8900 is the cheaper version of bold.

I was visiting Blackberry website but in the website the name is not ‘Blackberry Curve’ 8900. It’s named ‘Blackberry Bold’. Yes there are handsets which are named ‘Blackberry Curve’ but doesn’t look like this handset. I don’t get it. Here is the link of Blackberry Curve: http://www.blackberry.com/ap/products/handhelds/blackberry8300/ and this is the link for ‘Blackberry Bold’: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/devices/blackberrybold/. I hope gsmarena team will check this out. People could get confused, I guess.

When are BlackBerry going to have a stand alone store? Apple,Sony Ericsson and Nokia have shown the way.You are being left behind.
This is the only thing missing.
You could do repairs, exclusive releases, download new software etc.

Does the Curve 8900 come with Data viz tech? If not why not? I personally think all new BlackBerry phones should have this built in? What do you think?

Tested one of these on thursday, the guy from rim who it belonged to agreed with me that the bold is just a better piece of kit!
This fits the hand better as its not as big as the bold but the lack of 3g just makes it lose plus the screen is much smaller
The software. Is the same tho....
Out on o2 dec/jan!!!

Yeah, it's to make it easier to spell names like Fritz, Hanz and Larz. Makes good sense.

Id say having a fixed keyboard is way better than having a touch screen if you actually want to use the device to write emails! I upgraded from the 8310 curve to the storm and have been disapointed so will be waiting for this to come out.
Does anyone know if this will be available on voda in the UK?
