Finally I bought this phone and let E71 left behind.
I'm not trying to tell that E71 is poor, but Javelin really better in software detail than E71.
unfortunately BB doesn't support Flash Video format, and have only one alarm.

Anonymous, 21 May 2009...and what about the storm? is see the 8900 isnt 3G - is t... moreI used a 3.5G phone for almost 2 years before the 8900, in all that time I only used the internet using the HSDPA connection about 10% the rest I rely on UMTS connection (GPRS), due to the 3G network is stil unstable.
I also did a couple of video phone call, it;s nice but still not much use
so by changing to the BB8900 (non 3G) I missed almost nothing from the 3G phone, I still get my emails, still can connect to my facebook, still can chat on YM.
So I can conclude for now 3G is not mandatory, we'll see how 3G has become in the next 5 years, for now using the BB8900 is more that enough

ace crush, 26 May 2009guys i need a help, i dont know witch phone must i boucht ,... moreit depends on your needs, usually your line of work or your job specifications will define which one you should buy, to me the 8900 is more elegant in looks than the 9000, but the 9000 is better in operation, cause it's 128mb memory is not shared, instead it has a 1gb internal storage for installing aplications and don't forget the Bold is 3G so can do HSDPA web browsing (don't know if it is really necaessary though).
but I use the 8900 and has installed additional softwares (even a mom up pro program, office to go, etc) to suit my daily tasks and I still have 151mb of memory for operation, so that means my 8900 is currently operating faster than the 128mb Bold.

This is My second qwerty phone and my first Blackberry, last time I used a Sonyericsson P910. In term of specs and features the 8900 is not right there on the top, there are a lot noikas and sonyericssons out there that it better features and specs than this phone, but then again black berry is not only selling handsets they are also selling the actuall blackberry network.
So over all this phone is good and gets me connected always and fast...that what's really matter to me...

I have a question for you.
Why does this refuse to pair by bluetooth with a Nokia E51? The versions are just about the same and the encrytpting thing is off. Does it have a problem?
