For whatsapp you should download the android version on BB Passport and the app whatsapp fixer from blackberry world,because Whatsapp has no more support on BB10 phones.

I wish Blackberry would release a second generation Passport with android OS. It will be a one of its own kind device. I really really like the unique and elegant form factor of this model. Android will give it the much powerful soul and boost the usability of this hardware. Of course certain hardware changes are required when compared to the tech available in today's time as compared to what the market was back in 2014. A new device with this form factor is really going to be hit among the customers. Let's see if my wish comes true.
