In essence, a bunch of application developed in android and IOS is yet to ported to BlackBerry 10 , the phone is bad? For you , a smartphone is one only runs games? Okey. I got it.
But that is true only for *YOU*.
For a lot other people "Important apps" can be a neat calendar, flawless email experience, Evernote , BBM and most importantly something called INFORMATION / Communication SECURITY. Secure communication, freedom from malware, freedom from snooping eyes.Phones with Nail-polish and lipstick colours are all fine and good for those who prefer them, but that may not be the requirement of people who actually have to work for a living.
Those people are buying Passport. Don't believe me? I don't care :D . There is a saying in USMC ( US Marine corps). "If someone shoots at my ass, it is a major battle. No matter what the brass call it"
Likewise , if Passport , as a business tool (phone), helps people to get their work done, they call it smartphone.

Lacks of some apps doesn't mean we should blame it though all the usefull apps are available in BlackBerry world...perfection is necessery in any os...

Boy! I love the way you throw around exclamations and question marks. You are amazing.
Since this phone does not satisfy your quench your thirst ( I like the "inner satisfaction" too - reminds me of "inner peace" in the animation movie Kungfu Panda :D ) for "apps" - games and social media, especially) I think that you should not buy this . We all get it, thank you so much. However, I have seen some developer building BlackBerry 10 native applications once they get enough requests from users. Android and IOS reached this vaunted tetrazillion apps mark over a period of time. With every passing day the gap is getting - albeit at a slow pace - narrower.
By the way, what is your budget for an "inner satisfaction" phone.

Beetalk?? 1st of all does it support?? Android does!! Is this u called as Real Smartphone with lack of Important apps?!! Variants color is only black and white.. Compare it with Sony, iphone and android way variety of availabilities in color!! Gold, purple, mint and etc.. Lack pf apps! Higher price! Doesn't make sense!!

Will never waste my cash to buy this crap again BB invented the Passport!! Is is BB doesn't hear consumer and customers?? Where is instagram? Beetalk? Candy crush? Monster buster? Fifa? Need for speed? Clash of clan? Telegram? Kik? We doesn't want third party application!! We want actual 100%! What's wrong with Blackberry?? higher pricing on phone with lack of apps?? Physical beauty doesn't guarantee u inner satisfaction!! Android and iOS way zillion time better than bb! P/s: by the way, i'm commenting here in a reason to see if blackberry do have any changes.. But nahhhhh.. Lack of apps.. No subway surfer as well! Too many to list

I do not get it,very expensive phone,to compere to what phone?iphone 6 750$ ,why BB passport should be chipper,600$ for what this phone gives the price is fear.But I prefer free of charge.
I use Z10 and love it,Z10,Z30,one year old phone they run perfectly,did not have problem with OS or hardware,my Z10 run 10.3.0.1418 OS flawlessly,next 10.3.1,and we are talking about old phone that BB even stopped production,btw,old phone run new OS even fester then defoUlt OS,WHAT PHONE CAN DO IT.?

AMAZING !!!!! go try it and cfor yourself if u can use a narrow phone after using this

I have a Blackberry curve 9320 very user friendly I love it my best friend the only problem is my e mail is asking for a password and I forgot it now I am in a fix ella van schalkwyk Big Bay Cape Town
