3kgeoff, 08 Jan 2017 I have also noticed that specifications don't mean everyt... moreHi, I'll be getting my BB passport tomorrow, a couple of things I can share about my experience in brief points are:
1- Compatibility for me worked best in windows mobile 10, IOS and android. I tried BB10 when it was released on the playbook which although is old now was really smooth and faster than most tablets for its time.
2- I'm purchasing the BB10 passport because I wanted a business oriented phone which would be all about productivity, another reason is that I'm from the millennial generation who was around when phones with keyboards was the sh*t and slowly witnessed the transition of keyboard to touchscreens and the rise of the android as well as the fall of the BB10 so being naturally a tech nerd I wanna get another chance to experience the best keyboard on a smartphone.
3- Finally this device is currently for niche, people who can go about without WhatsApp & FB as well as games and popular social media apps, also note due to the dwindling popularity of BB in general, servicing if it gets damaged or has defective parts will be difficult and do not expect to have any value when wanting to sell the device so this will be one of those devices that you keep with you forever.

i was using this device science 1 nd half year its pretty good but the service is not proper infact bb is nt providing service for phones out of warranty

Some apps in BB World are not available for square screen devices and I never used Audible.com. But to reboot the phone, I can not agree with you. I reboot mine only once in few weeks when I remember that the theory says I should reboot it more often. No issues.
Blackberry Passport, the best smartphone for me with the best OS - BB10.

it is 2017 and i really want this phone, I know it 2years old and doesnt run on andriod but it the best blackberry out there.

Heavy app-users would choose priv; but if your need is limited to, say ... twitter, facebook and the like, and need a phone mostly for basic communication and data processing, passport is overall better ("overall" when taken into consideration, e.g. security (you have little contol over apps on android sys.) and battery (seems to be a common complaint among Priv users that it heats up).

Honestly I must give a kudos to the blackberry passport for its uniqueness and smartness. It is a device capable of investing on financially. For those who think of getting one,go ahead there is no cause for alarm. But the BlackBerry should updates its BBM so that one can load a file above 16mb. We need applications that is as good as WhatsApp pls. Happy new year lover of BlackBerry. Hoping to get your new updates on OS.

Don't listen to most internet reviews. This phone is great especially the camera. I went on holiday with my gf who has an iphone 6s plus. We ended up using most of my pics from blackberry passport instead of her pics from iphone. The passport pics are bright and look good while iphone pics are dull and not appealing. Forget what the 'experts' say about pics. For the every day user as long as it looks good to the eyes then that is a good pic.
