Boyka, 03 Jan 2017Blackberry passport or blackberry prive please want ur opiniondepends on the apps you run I think. Heavy app-users would choose priv; but if your need is limited to, say ... twitter, facebook and the like, and need a phone mostly for basic communication and data processing, passport is overall better ("overall" when taken into consideration, e.g. security (you have little contol over apps on android sys.) and battery (seems to be a common complaint among Priv users that it heats up).

Honestly I must give a kudos to the blackberry passport for its uniqueness and smartness. It is a device capable of investing on financially. For those who think of getting one,go ahead there is no cause for alarm. But the BlackBerry should updates its BBM so that one can load a file above 16mb. We need applications that is as good as WhatsApp pls. Happy new year lover of BlackBerry. Hoping to get your new updates on OS.

Don't listen to most internet reviews. This phone is great especially the camera. I went on holiday with my gf who has an iphone 6s plus. We ended up using most of my pics from blackberry passport instead of her pics from iphone. The passport pics are bright and look good while iphone pics are dull and not appealing. Forget what the 'experts' say about pics. For the every day user as long as it looks good to the eyes then that is a good pic.

Have 2 BB Z30 but decided to purchase a BB Passport Silver... After 30 days of use I sent it back for the following reasons.
1- It will not run all of my BB Z30 apps.
2- It will not read my Audible.com books as my Z30 does.
3- In any 24 hours the Passport needs to be re booted 10 to 15 times a day.
While a nice unit the Passport was not worth it for the above reasons. I will stay with my Z30 until it dies. When that happens I will use my new backup Z30 still in its box.

Manoj Singh, 24 Dec 2016Does Blackberry Passport had Mouse, Since in Q 5 & Q10 ... moreno bb except bb classic on bb os 10 platform has the track pad , you can find it in older bb os 7 phones thou, where as the keypad in bb passport acts itself as the track pad, the full qwerty is touch sensitive too.

But I need to remember or recall every step of switch on off, tips of swipe, look Windows for short cuts, viber option, messenger nt work. Keeping in pocket restart option seen? Really hot cake.

Im using BB Q5
but unfortunately no messenger is working on it, even whatsapp will be sut down after 31st december.

You can use Blackberry World, BBM, e-Mail Client with your normal APN Internet subscription form your provider. No need to pay extra for APN Blackberry!
