The BlackBerry Passport Silver price have been increased by $1 on Amazon.com when they should have reduced the Price if the want People to buy this Smartphone.
It's a very well built Smartphone but, the constant rebooting will keep People away from buying it.

I bought the BlackBerry passport silver edition about 8 months back while I was hesitant to discontinue the use of BlackBerry Z10 which I had for over two years.
My friends and colleagues are amazed by the amount of content I can type quickly on this phone.
I can prepare presentations and work on spreadsheets on the fly. There is no phone that can compete from a functional perspective.
Lack off popular apps is a drawback. I hope BlackBerry don't kill this operating platform. I have no interest in their Android phones.
If BlackBerry wants to be a software company, I hope they can support Apps and music on BlackBerry world.

I have utilized a BlackBerry Passport for over six months now. It's awesome. Much better than I expected: very practical, much faster than any other smartphone I saw around (especially Windows Phones, no comparison), pretty complete in its default features and with several chances of customization. Really excellent for anyone who needs an "everyday working phone".

The problem with this phone is the constant rebooting.
For a $449-$549 phone this shouldn't be happening to anyone, but thousands of users around the world we face this problem with the BlackBerry Passport.
I will return mind to Amazon tomorrow for a refund.
IPhone 7 it is.
I am done with Microsoft, Nokia, BlackBerry and Samsung.

As I see it, this is the best description of the Passport i've read,, even better than the company's advertisements. How about a Passport without a physical screen as an option? and/or an Android option. But keep the form-factor exactly the same.

Some of the best applications will stop supporting the BlackBerry OS, like What's up will not work with BB OS starting from 1 Jan 2017

I'd love a replacement Passport with new specifications. Don't care much for many apps. Improve the cameras but I'd stay with OS10.
I've said this before elsewhere. My BlackBerry Passport is like my HP41C calculator. Unique. Efficient. Practical.

I am constantly going back to my Passport since BB10 OS is simply the best for me (although I am not a gamer or similar). Combo of BB10 with wide screen is simply amazing and once U get used to it, narrower phones seem inadequate. Previously I had q10 and it took me couple of days to get used to the width, but now q10 seem tiny to me.
All in all my only complaint is that some (not critical) android apps do not work properly, but I can live with that.
P.S. It also draws more attention than any other phone; people think it's a Porsche design

I am die hard fan of bb os 10 & using bb z10 from long time but now as my z10 motherboard is dead i am thinking to buy bb passport so wanna know its users review that is it still wise to buy it? As of now even july passed but no news regarding release of bb os 10.3.3. Whats app & fb already have declared that at the end of year they will not continue there support to bb mobiles. A huge app gap. even wanna know camera quality of passport & doed patched apps of google works fine on bb passport?
