Excellent Phone due to the following factors
1. High in call volume (ear piece) & audio quality both for caller & receiver -Excellent
2) Width is 25% higher even over 6" (16:9 ratio ) phone -very wide -reader friendly -Excellent
(Initially it looks awkward , but within a week it is addictive)
3) Solid Audio Quality & my subjective opinion is it is one of the best to my ears , but power may not sufficient to drive high impedance earphones over 32 Ohms -Excellent
4) Excellent form factor, fits into shirt pocket (due to low height of 130 mm)
5) Message Hub is also very user friendly, all type of messages/mails at one place, easy & faster work-productive.
6) Comparable high quality excellent rear camera
7) a) With OS BB10.3 all Android apks can be installed directly from SD Card.
b) For full android like functionality , cobalt Google Account manager, cobalt Google ID, Cobalt Google Services, cobalt Google play store may be installed, now it can be used like any android phone, e.g. Google maps, Google my tracks, GPS Maps, Uber, Taxy For Sure, Ola .etc work flawless.(but patched with patcher) but probably except Dialers, Message apps & Internet browsers as they may not work fully as expected. Apps can be installed directly from play store, if app is not working, extract apk, patch it , uninstall original & install patched.
8) Can be connected to PC as limited Mass storage drive (External SD Card)-Excellent (not like IOS)
9) File can be transferred with any phone through Bluetooth (Not like iphone to apple)
9) Every piece of hardware is high quality / beautiful-Excellent

Limitations:
1) Use of physical key board appears to be hard, touch screen key board may better in same size soft keys
2) Low light performance of front camera is limited
3) As it is a Sq Screen, video may be smaller
4) If price is reduced say to Rs 20000 -25000 range & if marketing done again through
advertisements , it will be sold like hot cake in india
(My purchase was at Rs24300.00 during blackfriday sale at eaby.in with manufacturer warranty)
First time i am unable to point out any more deficiencies of a phone

From the info I read on Blackberry forums, it seems that Android VPN software is not working (since Android is working inside BB OS), but I do know that Blackberry OS 10 have native support for different type of VPN so it might work without app, but you need to know how to setup it (and it might be a bit of hard work to do).

akki, 15 Dec 2015So You mean to say , android apps also can work on this device???Yes, most of the Android apps will work on Passport, although some apps will have difficulties with 1:1 screen ratio. You can install Android app (in APK format) without any additional programs (you can download these from alternative app stores, but be careful as there is a risk of virus infection from these sources). And you can also use PlayStore (there are two methods, Cobalt or Snap), and even gain Google services capability (Cobalt).

                                A BB Passport 2.0 thanks!

Okay, first things first. This looks to be a cool device. I haven´t hold one for my self, but I watched the pictures and videos and also read some comments. I´ve never owned or used a Blackberry, but I still like them. Why? Becaese they tend to think a bit different. Just like Nokia in the early 00´s and Sony Ericsson in the mid 2000.

Todays market is crammed up by all sorts of devices, bet hey, how original are they? Samsung looks like iPhones, Sonys looks like... A mash-up. Design and spec-wise. Okay, I´m a bit harsch here maybe. Anyway, one thing I really like about BB is their qwerty-way of thinking. It´s not completely out there. They tend to look and handle well (other companys at least). For a big-fingered smuck a qwerty could do the job. I own Z3 but my texts are horrid. Though I don´t want a goozilla-hone 5inch plus. What I would like:

                                * BB original look and size + improved quality (think Passport, iPhone, Nokia E71)
                                * Android OS
                                * Medium plus specs at least
                                * Affordable ffr the many (max. 500$)

                                My 2 cents! Cheers all.
