yes,i am totally agreed with JRF..this new BB has got something to show!..it's design looks nice anyway..BUT THE TRUTH IS,NEW BB starting with GEMINI must has a TOUCH PAD instead of TRACKBALL..coz ball is sucks!!

It looks quite nice on videos, so it def looks better in person... this is the first time I ever wanted a Pearl. It has everything the 9700 has in it but in a smaller, sleeker design. It looks pretty much the same as other Pearls so don't see how anyone can say this looks ugly but without saying the same about the 81XX series. And yes, it'll ship in many colors... just follow crackberry.com's coverage of WES2010.

I think the keypad is a bit too complicates... having up to 3 characters or more in one button......

This phone is launching very soon from Rogers in Canada. Comes in a very nice case with a black to dark red fade. Price $79.99 on a 3 year term.

The thing is Blackbarry never seems to amaze any person on how much of a punch it can pack. Its got all the bling bling soft ware pears and it is a strong phone. But i need to state this as dearly as i can. This model seems to come to the paly ground but, it does not make it a fashion item nore any thing that will pull the eyes. I dont think this model was farly maid to the sales men as they will have to focus on the spex to sell it rather than having the phone do the talking. Also in closing PLZ bring in more colour...

Noooo lets be honest people, it looks quite nice, i personally think its just the camera angle that the picture has been taken on but on google images of it, the blackberyy peral 9100 looks quite nice. but if you dont like it, okay you dont like it, but it isnt a fashion item!? its just sex on a phone :D

well it was given the name pearl due to the fact that the trackball that it is equipped with has the capability the changes colours kinda like the colours of a real pearl. i really like this phone i would love to know when its is coming out so i can get a hold on one. i live in jamaica if anyone can help

i like this phone but i like the new 8910 better if it has 3g cause im a curve 8900 owner and love the phone but a bit slow on the browser cause of the 2g cause my area is 3g

RIM BlackBerry are doing what they did back in 2007 they got the 8800 and condensed it into a pearl 8100 this time they are getting the Bold 9700 and condending it into the Pearl 2(9100) i think its got all the specs as the 9700
