my gf loves the look of this fone a lot, but she's a bit dissapointed that this fone has no 3g network. I really hope BB will make a 3g version of this fone.

I was thinking about buying this phone off ebay until I realised it hadn`t got a radio. I mean an expensive phone like this without a radio!!? I won`t be changing my Nokia 7390 for it.

Lydia, 15 Apr 2009Just wondering, alot of my friends have music and playlists... moreammm i dont know if it has a memory card but if it does then just plug the phone into the pc (if your phone has a lock on it it may ask you to give the password on the computer or on the phone)
The phone's memory chip should then apear on your computer
from their just drag the songs you want from your computer to the phone

Amazing people out there, I hope you all are doing well.
I am a big Nokia Fan, but now was considering this phone as a secondary phone.
How is the performance of ths particular model.
Do convey your opinions out here as it would be highly appreciated.
Have a nice weekend ahead.

Just wondering, alot of my friends have music and playlists on their phones. I don't have much experience with smartphones but I have this one and was wondering how I would get my music from my computer onto this phone?

I bought one and I'm not satisfy with the weak battery power. For frequent usage, you have to charge it everyday - sort of trouble.

This is my second cell phone (moving on from a Samsung A436) and I must say, it's perfect for those of us who are not necessarily super smartphone literate. The Blackberry Pearl Flip does only what you want it to (except for my tendency to accidentally hit the voice command button when I'm texting), making it very simple for people who aren't used to phones that are capable of doing more than texting and voice. RIM has given the Smartphone revolution a friendly face with the 8220, and I think this phone is definetely great for the younger generation and the female consumer population. Very stylish, and although it was my second choice to the Curve, I definetely do not regret buying it. Suretype keyboard was definetely a down side but they don't call it a smartphone for no reason, this thing gets to know your vocabulary within a couple of days, making the Suretype tolerable (although I still sort of wish it was full QWERTY).

Pretty good phone, no wonder people call them Crackberries, this thing is freaking addictive. It's my second cell phone (after a Samsung A436) and I would definetely say this is one Smartphone that isn't intimidating at all. RIM did a good job with the Blackberries, they definetely give the Smartphone invasion a friendly face.

nice phone but what i hate about it is it lacks a front 3g camera and look at the 3.5 mm jack input its on the side of the phone just imagine when u plug in a 3.5 mm headset jack in to it and when u put the phone to ur pocket it will be annoying , specially when u put it to ur top pocket of ur shirt .

lilj, 17 Mar 2009my memory chip is not showing in phone what to doIn settings open options and go to MEMORY, click on memory, click on the menu key and scroll to format, it will give a prompt that tells you all media files will be lost, chose yes and follow the steps from there. I had the same problem and it worked for me hope that helps.

the blackberry pearl is amazing and debatebly the best black berry. the trackballl is amazing and the features that the screen on the flip can do is amazing and the phone is user friendly, yes it might be a bit difficult for first time blackberry owners but you'll catch on quickly, if u want the phone buy it, you'll have no regrets.

lilj, 17 Mar 2009my memory chip is not showing in phone what to doIf you are on about your memory card, then you may need to format it first before use. Though, this would mean that all data currently on the card will be lost.
