Stupid phone. Please do some research before making a phone. useless phone, blackberry is in the drifting strategic position where they themselves find it difficult to sustain in the current mobile market.
I sent a complain to blackberry last year asking to allow the user in my Country to install a specific application, until today no improvement. Some of the applications in BB world is only allow in certain region. For example, you can only install whatsapp in United States but you are not able to install in United Kingdom. It shown 'this app is not available in your country '. Sounds stupid to me.
I really found no reasons to have this phone at this price. Strategic drift , moving backward.

We have two phones at home, my BB 9900 and my partner's Samsung Galaxy S3. She would not properly use mine while I never find hers of doing any useful thing to me, and I see it very trivial. Different people should not have the same preference.

I feel stupid of buying this phone. Blackberry did not perform a details check on the availability application that can fit well on this phone. Simply launching a phone without knowing that this phone is not capable of installing almost any famous apps.
Spending about EURO520.00 to buy a phone which is much much lower spec than S4, Xperia Z or even iphone5. Generally, android and IOS can do almost everything than a blackberry can, but I can bet with you blackberry cannot do most of the things that an android and iphone can do.
Is just simply over priced. BBM? Email ? Whatsapp can do this perfectly. IOS has the best email interface since long ago and android can perform this good as well.
Physical keyboard? I can bet I can type 40% faster than a physical keyboard and I believe most of the users agree also. U need a firm pressure to press a keyboard, and you only need a soft touch on a touch screen, you decide which is faster.
Blackberry, stop cheating customer and those who still think blackberry is better, please think before you comment.
When you are on the street, some one using a Samsung S3 which is cost almost half of this phone ask you " HEY, CAN I HAVE YOUR WEECHAT ID? lolz sorry sir, I am holding a much much expensive phone than you but I cant Weechat apps on my phone. Not only concerning about this particular apps, there are many tonnes of apps which are not able to be installed on this phone, i owned this phone and i know it well. dont cheat yourself.
Wake up, follower users.

Fantastic phone. Never expected blackberry to have such a fantastic UI. Its absolutely fresh and smooth to operate. best part is that it doesnt hang like other BB devices. The only thing it lacks is apps but that too soon will be rectified.Overall a great experience. Should go for it if you are open to change. And anyone who complains of not having an onscreen keyboard, they dont understand uniqueness of BB phones.Blackberry is for working class(emails especially) and not a multimedia device. The purpose is defined.

I have used Android, IOS , Symbian and now Iam using BB 9700. In my opinion BB has its own class, own users. They are the one providing the experience of the track pad and qwerty keypad to its customers.According to met he only drawback currently is battery life, RAM( as its laggs)(9700 has a 256MB RAM)and skype. The keypad is just lovely, I just love typing with it the whole day, its very convenient!. Ill be switching soon to 9900 (because the specifications is higher up-til now 1.2GHz with 768MB RAM) to experience OS 7.1 with a touch screen after that ill surely go to BB Q10 when it gets cheaper. RIM surely knows what their track pad means to the users. By removing it they are switching the existing users to the next level with touchscreen experience. The Q10 is equipped with heavy specificatiosn not up to the mark of ANDROIDS/WINDOWS/IOS, but remember its not just the hardware, but the software utilizing the hardware. BB does'nt requires quad-core to run its OS smooth just like Iphones. Its the OS's compatibility with the hardware. Q10 is equipped with Dual-Core 1.5, 2GB RAM (which is the only issue now to avoid lagging) and it also supports skype. With a 8MP back and 2MP front is the best decision. Smartphones nowadays are just getting bigger with the latest technology, thats good as we are moving towards a new era of future. I respect personal choices and preferences. I have OIS and Android users at home I know everything about their phone and love the OS on both the phones. It has its own class. Games, Apps, Screen Size, Quality Videos/Pictures you name it and you have everything you need in your smartphone on the go. But I personally prefer tablets for those purpose. A smartphone should be smart and Q10 surely is. They legacy of the keypad is still there. I love my BB as mentioned earlier ill switch to BB9900 soon. I love the keypad and the track pad as BB gave us that opportunity to experience it. If they are removing the trackpad and getting all the existing users to a new platform of touch with the keypad is a real invention, thats what I personally believe. Alot of you may not agree with my statement but in the end thats personal choice and again I respect everyone's personal opinion. I mean all we as BB users lacking now is video calling,RAM,limited third-party apps and ofcourse new UI. BBOS10 is surely a new innovation. I would love to experience it and will always be a BB User. Appreciate ya'll time. :)
