Just got my today and very disappointed ?
I sending messages and mails in france , English and Russian - now proper lay out and you don't have on screen keyboard . It's impossible to send proper text in Russian , because you don't see letters .
This phone is way overpriced .

Hi all, Can someone help please? I love the look of the Q10 and feel however, I want to buy this phone on sim free and will be on PAYG, do I still need to have a seperate BB account package to use the BBM etc or can I use the BB features without having to subscribe with the network? Thanks all.

the BB Q10 is without a doubt the worst phone possible. BB left all the good things about the Bold behind. my advice to a person using a BOLD and consdering a Q10 - don't. I am returning mine after 6 days and buying an iphone. bb Q10 is garbage

i got bb q10 it looks nice elegant and software wise its ok little difficult but i think with time it will be ok BUT bb they have quality control or no i think no cause my q10 keyboard backlight is uneven lower raw is intense light while the rest is dim compared to it i think this is a defect in the hardware which is a shame the device is expensive and should not have this short come iam living in kuwait i bought it from authorized dealer just yesterday and return it back today cause of this defect which iam not accepting and they said will see and maybe will change will ask and i had to wait iam really angry they should change it on the spot. its really shame that a big company like bb till now in 2013 still releasing a device which pass quality control with silly defect like that , after a long time of making keyboards and this device together with z10 suppose to be giving the company a push i think down not up

stha, 26 May 2013don't buy Q10 if using Iphone5, they are more or less the sameThey're not the same at all. Q10 has a faster browser and the best keyboard ever made by bb.

Regret to bought this phone for the below reasons:
1.) most of the android apps are not able to install on these devices. I could say probably 70%. Even the most happening apps wechat would not able to install under this device.
2.) No way to customize the LED notifications. Even there is a paid apps, but the customization was so limited.
3.) I am using BB9790 1 year ago and I finally decided to sell it due to the lack of apps compatibility. And i though BB should have improve better over the year, but everything remains the same.
4.) Blackberry, launch a phone without knowing the apps compatibility, in short, they are launching a powerful phone without any useful apps. This is funny to me, how about you guys?
5.) For those who are using this device, how will you do if you would like to change a notifications sound? manually go to media folder and pick up a single tone each time? Lack of user friendly. And also, they are only few tone less than 5 probably in the option.
6.) This phone cost about approximately USD700.00 in my area and is consider almost the most expensive phone in the current mobile phone market. For those who bough this device will end up feeling that you are buying the most expensive device with full of headache. Every time when a android user or apple ios user showing off their quality apps, I do not dare to even make any sound because I am sure it will not be available in the BB world.
No reasons for going blackberry anyway. For those keep claiming that the email is good, the bbm is good or bla bla, please stay back and think properly, android and ios can do this easily.
For security reasons? How many of you really know about the security? Is your stuffs that confidential?
Spending USD700.00 in return of headache, afraid of apps compatibility?
Make your own choice.

Just bought it yesterday and very satisfied with the new OS. Exceeds my expectation.
I'm now using Lumia 900, Galaxy Grand and Q10. No matter what, the qwerty on smartphone is still unbeatable by the latest 'monster devices' out there. Also have an iPad so basically I have been tasting 4 OS and I vote for this Q10.
