Shanto, 25 Jul 2015Battery drain too much faster even in idle time. Seriously ... more@Shanto; Firstly, I will like to know the version of OS you have on your device.
Note:
If you are on 10.2 or later you may experience that.
But, I will advice you to upgrade your OS to 10.3.1.1779. When you have successfully upgrade your OS. Kindly backup your files via BBLINK to your Desktop Computer or Laptop. Make sure you have data plan on your sim or wifi connection before you go ahead.
When you are done, go to System Settings and do a "Security Wipe". It will automatically wipe all your data. At the completion of that, follow the screen message to setup your phone. Once your phone setup is complete, go to Mobile network option and change your Network mode to 3G to enable download the 16MB update on time.
Go to Settings and scroll down to "Software Update" click on it and update your OS, the volume is 16MB. You can change your network mode back to 2G. That helps you to save your battery as well.
Now you have resolve the issue of over heating, hanging, slow communication, quick battery drain.
You can restore your files back to your device. But, mind you, don't install unwanted apps on your device. Excess of apps runs down the battery.
I hope this will help. Because, since have done this on my device my phone is working fine and my battery serve me well.

medo, 18 Jul 2015I need a link to download google play store on my BlackBerr... moreOverheating seemed quite common before the OS upgrade to 10.3 but after that it reduced quite a bit, also check and see if there is an app that is using more processing power than most other apps if you feel its not needed uninstall it. That might help.

I bought my BBq10 in 2014 December, Its my assistant , I organize and follow everything with my bb. Its fast enough, still fast as the first time , screen is enough big I think..... Its not for gaming, its for serious people.

this phone is really swesome. its keypad is smooth n its touch is so nice. amazing phone. doesnt hang or get slow. best phone so far

As for the apps, you can download each and every app that you can on any Android too. I installed google play store and it works perfectly fine. Just get used to it, browse around if you don't know something and enjoy the great phone.

Sorry for my English, I used iphone 3gs, Samsung galaxy s2, Htc Sensation xe, and Htc M8...still I have and give it to my family,(best phones) but I will not go back to android nor Iphone in the future, I'm not happy with those kind of smart devices big screen and anoyying to receive apps updates most of the time, I was looking for classic type of phone then I purchased 2nd hand A year old Q10 in very good condition only fo checking... and first few hours I didn't use to it but now I am satisfied with it. most people says blackberry phones are only for business and works, but i say like bb Q 10 is a smart phone and run android apps, so its all for those who need smart phones with physical keyboard. this phone is not for gaming but i downloaded F18 from amazon store and working ok.
call quality is best and clear, its showing 4 signals at the same place but htc m8 was grab 1 or 2.
this phone isn't slow, battery life is still good (seller used more then 1 year), watching on youtube is also fun.
typing on Q 10 is a good experience.
easy to use in one hand and light in the pocket..
vibration and speaker are best.
Only the screen is small without track pad and camera is not so good. maybe in the future classic or passport will be best to buy.

In reference to your view; if your device is updated to 10.2 or 10.3 (you will be able to download both BlackBerry and Andriod application on it). Am one of the user of the device and I find it lovely. Except the headphone jack I have issue with. Have contacted the store I bought it from and I was asked to bring it for repair which have not been able to go because is a minor issue.
