mido, 18 Jun 2015Me too But is it getting hot with you?!!My phone is running cool on my usage,don't use much data though,heavy browsing and games make any phone to run hot.Depends on Your OS as well,my phone runs 10.3.2 with no problem,OS is very optimized and stable,though battery life best was on 10.3.1,update the OS is always works better then any advice.In setting You will never find switch,HOT-on or off,adjust Yourself to the phone.

mido, 16 Jun 2015So you advise me to use the phone for a period and not go t... moreYep,use it but wisely.Any time You don't need data switch it off or wi-fi,don't since accounts like FB,Twitter,email often,close app in background and so on.Try not to use the phone when in charge,all this will pay You back with %.Update OS to the latest You can.For me Q10 the best I ever used phone,not heavy user though.

mido, 16 Jun 2015System is using 30% & BBM is using 20% My OS is 10.2 ... moreThat is high usage.Close all apps in background,make reset,but the best way update OS to 10.3.1 if You can.Go to setting-Security and Privacy-Apps permission,make sure(uncheck)no app has permission to work in background.Log out of BBM and email.But one thing have to mention,any BB10 OS adjust itself 4-5 days,in case You bought the phone from the shop and no second hand.I mean usage will be higher when You start from scratch(0),new phone first start up and so on.

Anonymous, 15 Jun 2015I have bought this phone 2 days ago and it is getting too h... moreGo to device monitor and see what app or program actually consume the power,battery or CPU,some times some app,in my case was BBM,run in background with 50-60% of CPU usage,that what make Your phone getting hot.Try to get latest OS for Your phone,what OS You have now?.Make soft reset using volume up and down,press at the same time till see BB logo.

I have bought this phone 2 days ago and it is getting too hot after opening 3G
Is this is a problem or what?!!!

AnonD-406337, 15 Jun 2015and how can I check whether my device is unlocked or not?There are two unlocked phones,Factory unlocked and unlocked by buyer,who just would like to use different sim card or carrier.Factory unlocked has no carrier logo on start up or reboot,unlocked by buyer will show carrier logo on phones start up.Can check setting,security and privecy-sim card-if You see "unlock network" Your phone locked to some Carrier,best way, switch sim card and see if this works.IF Your phone unlocked by buyer it still receive update released not only by BB but must be approved by carrier(even if device unlocked by buyer),factory unlocked devices receive update by Region and model.But You still can update the phone to official OS like leek.
