Yes it has a great flashlight... I use it every day... The Q10 is Great Phone for use in my business, rugged as well, can take a fair amount of abuse... I've even dropped it into the toilet, immediately pulled the battery, stuck it over a forced air heat vent (at home) overnight, put the battery back in... no issues whatsoever :)

Im goin to give up on my note 3 for this device. I love q10's Keyboard and Hub. Love it so much.
But my Note is the most convinient phone i ever have. THE BEST BATTERY I EVER HAVE.
i dont play game, just Facebook, line chat , google maps and web brower.
Im so confuse.....

GK, Firstly prioritize what your planning to get a phone for, gaming? surfing the net, occasionally watching movies etc..,
If your going to use the phone for the above listed uses, then I advice you to get Samsung Note II. The Blackberry Q10 is best of people who like chatting or typing a lot of long emails and some basic playing, its not the most recommended for watching movies or video since, the aspect ration is 720x720 your not going to be satisfied with the outcome.
Dont waste your time asking any more question go run to the store, first thing tomorrow morning and buy the Samsung Note II.

Guys, Presently Iam using Samsung Galaxy NoteII since Jan2014. I would like to purchase BB Q10. Please suggest whether I can go with BB Q10 or Note II is better? Please advise

i have used blackberry Q 10 is more then 4 months. but while calling time the phone has to be over heated. waiting for ur replay.

I purchased the Q10 Jan 11, 2014 and returned to the store Jan 22, 2014. I've been a loyal blackberry follower ever since they hit the market. I couldn't take opening an app and swiping until my finger blistered trying to close it. The screen was so small it took allot of squinting to read it. The screen was so dull it was horrible to look at. My blackberry bold had a clear screen(it was small but I could read it). The phone in full operation reminded me of the toy display phones. I am very ddisappointed in blackberry. I should also add I couldn't even open the blackberry app on the phone! So what good is blackberry without the app or BBM? Very disappointed that I had to give up my blackberry for the next 2yrs. I will miss my keyboard :-(

This is my honest opinion of the blackberry q10, i've had this phone for 8 months. I'm gonna be discussing likes and dislikes
Likes: decent audio speaker quality and screen, battery life is actually good/ full day of normal use could last you a whole day without a charge, it depends on how you frequently you use the device. Quick settings/os based/.
Dislikes: the operating system is lacking in many areas: slow, sluggish Web browser, os is very boring, too many app updates and software updates, camera is not to good because for a high price tag we expect the camera to do a decent job. The pictures lack in detail and colour, screen size is too small, which means you have to do a lot of scrolling to read up long messages etc, bad front facing camera, not to good video recording, to me In terms of the design of the Q10 I'm not a fan of it. This is the biggest concern blackberry has a lack of applications in blackberry app world, it doesn't run smoothly on the operating system, I don't like the new so called swipe up gesture to close up.has there's no physical keys or anything to speak off. By doing this it takes abit of a learning curve to get it right and it's not that easy to use. The hub. Many people love this new feature. But I think it's a waste of time. It's somewhat confusing and slow. It's not basic
Final words
I'm really disappointed with blackberry 10 nvm which model device I think the os is lacking big time compared to android,ios apple. BlackBerry 10. Ofcourse it's a great platform for users who are messaging emails fans etc. But I think other platforms can also provide the same experience or even better. I'm afraid this is gonna be my last blackberry device. Cheers.

i switch to bb q10 from samsung galaxy s4. but there is lack of twitter support. notification in twitter not work in bb q10.
now i switch back to samsung galaxy s4.

I think I'm gonna give android a try. If it all works out. It will be a sad goodbye because I might be leaving blackberry

Good size, great OS, the Hub (Peak and Flow) is excellent.
- except -
The hardware keyboard is utter crap. It starts to fail about 3-6 months in, and "double-types."
Buyer beware.
