Native Whatsapp support is being discontinued this month. You can unofficially side-load the Android version of Whatsapp, but it's not guaranteed to work perfectly and it doesn't perform as well as the native app would have.

My BBq10 just recently started acting up. When it's turned on, it begins to download via the blue square symbol. It has been stuck on the square and has not been able to finish the download to enable the icons to come up to enable use the phone. Anyone with this experience and how it was solved? Tamad

I don't need whatsapp and other apps, for them I'm using other devices. I just need phone, sms and synchronize google account.
My question is: how long will bb continue supporting bb10 customers..?

Hi guys don't throw away your blackberry, you can still continue using whatsapp and google playstore as well in 2018. That of blackberry whatsapp will end december 2017 but blackberry has made it possible that you can still use whatsapp in 2018 by upgrading your OS to 10.3.3.1463, With this version you download andriod whatsapp and andriod game like any other andriod phone. To get the google playstore i will send the link on this site later.
