hi.i am about to purchase a new bb but there is something that i need to know with the bb storm 2 9520.does the screen always make a sound when you type on it?or can the sound be removed?.

And what are your thoughts?i have the storm 2 . after having the storm 1, i am very pleased. it seems to run quicker and has the ability to hold more apps from blackberry app world than the storm 1. might take time to get used to the surepress screen but i love it because you can highlight before you select. you also get multitouch with this screen compare to the storm 2 and more responsive than a NOKIA 5800 .

hey guys... ive been hearin soooo much abt blackberry n now after seein ppl ravin abt dis phone deciding 2 buy one..
Im currently using the nokia 5800 ... pls leme kno which phone is good for me ?
i use my phone essentially for browsing.. chattin .. msgin .. and some mailin... besides talkin ;)
ITS NOT ONLY FOR BUSINESS.
pls leme kno if blackberry is d rite choice for me...
if so... is it 9700 or STORM 2 ??

I have had the 9520 for over a month now. Initially it took me some time getting adjusted to this device, essentially because this was my first blackberry too. But, now I am super comfortable with it & I am quite loving it. Besides the Battery life, I don't think there is nothing else that I would really crib about. The camera performance will easily put any of the Nokia E series to shame.

Just a small review of my experience with the Storm2 9520
My 1st blackberry Device
Storm 9500 (Sure press tech. was horrible)
2nd Device
Storm 9550 (Verizon) - (it's much more better then the storm 9500 but thru my experiance i have a lot of problem becouse of the CDMA, I live in a country which only support GSM network.)
3rd Device
Bold 9700 (onyx) - (it was a good phone but sometimes i feels that the keyboard was design a bit small and sometime makes me a bit difficult to do the typing)
Current
Storm 9520 (Vodafone) - (When the 1st time I bought it, it was running with OS 5.0.0.306 and at that time there was a bit of problem such in lags,hangs etc. But when I keep on updating the OS and currently i'm using OS 5.0.0.580 everything works like charms and I love my Storm2 9520 now.) I will stick with my Storm2 9520 from now on... why ! Becos the Storm2 has an bigger internal memory (2GB) compared to the others Blackberry Device :D
p/s : For those who is always complaining about the Storm2 ... if you don't mind try and do some OS update(Operating System) u will never know what u might experiance with the sure press technology.

bought BB storm 9530...FAILED...then i bought tour FAILED too...BOLD 9000 ..DIED..replaced it cuz it was still under warranty and FAILED in just 5 DAYS...its been a month and RIM still dint send my bold back yet...i LOVE blackberrys but WILL NEVER buy em in my whole frikkin life

yo yo. if your bb hp cant recieve Push-mail??! Might probaly due to the service provider or u had change or swap a new set of bb which u need to change your IMEI & PIN with your bb service acc. Cheers!

LANRE SAMSON, 31 Mar 2010i recently got my storm2 few days back but i can only send ... moredo you have activate the bb service? if yes try to reboot back your bb then re configure back the connection setting.
