Samson, 31 Mar 2010I want to buy Blackberry Phone. but dont know 9700 good or ... morei have had the 8520 and currently have the 9700. the 9700 is better by far for features, however, the 8520 is fun =] i prefer the keys on the 8520 too as they are seperate from each other and easier to feel for texting while not looking at the phone =] lol

i recently got my storm2 few days back but i can only send e-mails to my phone contacts. i cant send or reply external email addresses. what do i do?

Had this phone for last 4 days or so. I have already used BB 9000 and Storm.
I must say, the improvements are substantial, specially in the OS, and overall stability. UI is much more smoother now. Of course my unit got restarted once, however I am told this is normal for most of the BB units.
Overall a great unit.

I have had this phone since Dec09. The screen freezes and then you have to remove the battery to solve the problem. Problem with this is sometimes I cant seem to end a call without removing the battery!!
Signal quality is bad compared to my e90 and it keeps on going into SOS mode, once again the battery needs to be removed. Another concern is the phone the phone runs very hot. I disabled the GPS but it didn't make much difference.
The touch screen is a great idea when it works and if they can solve the problems I encountered on mine it will be a great phone. Until then in my opinion I wasted my money.

WEll i have Storm 2 for over 2 month right now, first time used is so different then other blackberry i have before (gemini,8310,Bold) yups is sure press. it much better than storm, is fast,the connection is good, suitable in my head, however storm 2 is difficult to reply BBM, or e-mail with one hand, because the virtual keyword is not have gap letter to letter, in vertical mode. in horizontal mode is easier to reply BBM or e-mail but it must use both hand.

Anonymous, 22 Mar 2010i'm also thinking of buying nokia 5800 instead of a blackbe... morei have the nokia 5800 and its awesome->never had any troubles! my brother has the storm 1 and it was a hell of failphone->3 times in repair+1 echchange and still buggy software. i doubt they got it under controle by now..

I've installed Blackberry Maps using Desktop Manager but can't find it anywhere except in Options > Applications > Add-on and I can't run it from there. Can anyone help?
