I'm on my 5th storm 2 now issues with all am getting a replacement now different make, as Vodafone UK have now discontinued the set as of today because of so many problem apparently the new stock coming in was fulfilling returned handsets all the time

Had the Storm2 for 2months, as a replacement for a much loved old HTC device that I bust the screen on. Initially was quite pleased with Storm2's relatively long battery life between charges, excellent bluetooth (in terms of can leave it on all time & didnt seem to drain battery more) and liked the messaging. My problems started with difficulty being unable to synchronise my Outlook contacts and despite efforts couldnt sort this. Secondly, I found the 'sure type' clicky keyboard a bit cumbersome to the previous sliding QWERTY i'd been used to. Then, I started having problems with freezes which are extremely annoying with this device as keyboard completely locks up and requires taking battery out & rebooting. This improved slightly when I looked up a You tube video advice to adjust security settings so the device frequently empties its cache thereby reducing the number of freezes. However, it all became too frustrating so I sold it a couple weeks ago and with some trepidation shelled out on an iphone....... what a breath of fresh air... everything works so smoothly & its applications are so well integrated together, no freezes, excellent web searching & push email etc etc. sorry if I'm going off the topic of the Storm 2 but I do feel RIM have gone down the wrong road with this, especially the clicky 'sure type' keyboard which in my humble opinion is a complete nightmare.

Can someone tell the difference between storm2 9550 & 9520 being released at the same time (2009 November) with exactly identical features and bold 9700 (apart from the fact that this one is not a touch screen)..! ***Very confused*** Did BlackBerry release 2/3 fones simultaneously that are identical??? :-| :-O

It's definitely gonna make my life a living hell. I have used a nokia all my life, & only recently (5 mnths ago) purchased BlackBerry 8520 & thinking of getting a 9520 soon. I guess having seen this comment & still go ahead only 2 suffer the same consequences, I'll hate myself for that...

Really great phone, new sure-press works really well I am very impressed by this phone.

Guys i love this phone,it's simply DA BEST
Plz don't ever try to compare any BB with iPhone or nokia,it's something very different,very stylish and amazing.

Salomondrin storm 2 reviews give me a clue about the old and new build up for storm 2..
It has differences in clicking and the cracks light problem bellow the screen..
Does anyone know, how can I get the new build up storm 2 from the store??
Is there any code/mark or something else on the box?
Please help me, I will buy storm 2 in a few days
and how the inject cdma works on storm2 9550 exactly?
Is it switch system or standby cdma if it on gsm mode?

Hi..I got my Storm2 about 2 days ago.I'm having trouble with the Bluetooth,I am able to send but I cant receive(error: connection failed).I cannot access the internet also(error:This is a Wi-Fi service Please ensure your device has an active connection.I tried numerous times and it's connected to WILAN yet I still get this error...any solutions???

All these complaints are faults are exactly the same as with Storm 1 showing RIM have not improved the product at all, and some buyers have not done adequate research before buying!

User interface is cool but rims gota get rid of the mechanical screen press design. it gives such a un"sure" press touch screen experience. Also I was shocked and appauled to notice tat the phone vibrate is used as one of the mechanical motors of the touch screen causing it to make a hideous and annoying buzzing noise wen the fone rings in vibrate. Am I wrong ? Do I have a defective piece perhaps? I don't see myself using this Device much longer. Gimme ur reviews, all those tat have used it long enuff, please. Thanks
