its totally different better touchscreen, storm 1 has a bad screen, but this one has a huge improvement.
many considers that storm 2's touchscreen is even better than an typical touchscreen were you are tapping on a hard surface. this one is typing is really
error-free when you are typing on the screen.

7.2 mps is not designed for EVDo as the phone spec's say this is purely GSM and not CDMA at all. Meaning it is still great for north america, just not certain providers. Splits the market since some providers choose to not have the dual performing handsets. My provider is GSM which makes the 9520 seem fairly appealing. Any word on any HSPA+ models??:P

Vodafone have only got the exclusive on the Storm 2 for a few weeks. It maybe available on Orange before Xmas.

Vodafone have lost the exclusive on the Storm 2.It will be available on other networks very soon. GREAT NEWS!

I love BlackBerry. Even though the Storm 1 had its faults it was still a BlackBerry. I prefer phones qwerty buttons instead of touchscreen (but that is just me), but hopefully this phone (I use the term phone, but computer is more appropriate) will be as good as all the pre release hype suggests.
BlackBerry phones are almost perfect now (Especially the fact that they all have 3.5mm audio jacks).
The only thing BlackBerry lacks is a FM radio, but I will forgive them, just because everything else is soooo cool.

come on rim. north american 3g won't work! what the hell! rim seems they don't care about their own country. canadian consumers can't wait for the storm 3... come one... need taller screen the width is perfect. need very fast processor and video and memory on board like 32gb or 64 gb. even the sony psp that are sold for 249+tax has 16gb built in and has bluetooth 3.0. come on rim don't put us down...

This is basically the 9500 with Wi-Fi, a little better screen, and 2GB memory vs 1GB memory I think its the same. HSPA at 7.2Mbps is nice, but not great for people in North America as EV-DO revA is only 3.1Mbps. I wish RIM would make new phones for once.

Good news! Just made a pre-order for the storm2 on Vodafone. Very excited. Cant wait.
Bad news! Rumours has it the storm2 will be available on other networks such as Orange. Is it true ? Do you know anything about it? If this is the case I dont want to migrate to Vodafone from O2. Id rather move to Orange for better after sales services.
Pls let me know what you know so I know, what I know isnt true :P

The release date is expected to be around 26th October for Vodafone UK, you can pre-order online now at www.vodafone.co.uk. It looks fantastic, and the battery life is expected to be alot better (I hope so!!)

Not much of a feature upgrade, but the touchscreen's new improved technology is the story. I think it will be great, I thought the storm 1's only weakness is the poor touchscreen and the no wifi. But Now the touchscreen is much better, and with wifi. This will be a great phone to watch.

Could you get a new trumpet and start blowing it somewhere else comments about this phone not about how great(not that it is) the iphone is. this phone is shaping up to be one of the best of the year with the best touchscreen.
