I have a BB storm and iphone 3GS and I like them both. BB storm screen is very stunning, and iphone's UI is very good. Even WIFI is not available in a BB storm, I think is one the best touch screen phones especially now that software is improved so much with updates. If you can afford both iphone 3gs and BB storm, try to have them both, you wont regret it.

This phone has not impressed me at all.

It's an okay phone but that's as far as it goes.
Lots of neater phones out there.

Look at the Storm 2 still 3 mp rubbish. Simply put your money on another phone it is the only way RIM will learn.

well the model really very attractive not only for a smart phone, but also in the mobile world, but there is something on which i want to put an eye-- why only 3.15mp camera---? everybody knows that its not a multimedia phone but other companies are providing with 5mp camera(htc touch hd)as during a business tour or any professional tour camera is really very helpful(e.g-profession related to tourism)i know all of u will say that htc hd is higher in price than blackberry storm but still there are smart phone in the market which is in the same price stag of blackberry storm e.g-- samsung omnia1

so its arequest to the blackberry company to please bring out blackberry storm with 5 mp camera

                        we r waiting for it

I have the Storm for two weeks now and I highly recommend it to anyone that wants a high-end business smartphone. It came with the latest firmware update and I have never expirienced any lag or slowdown at all!The Inernet Blacberry Service is just great on that phone with gorgeous huge display. It really takes a few hours to get used to the screen that represents one huge button, but afterwards it is a pleasure to work with it! It came it 8 Gb card and 1 GB internal memory. The photos are satisfactory, it is not a camera but a business phone. The only complaint is about the battery - it only last a day of heavy usage and I have to charge it every night. My unit came with no BlackBerry maps per-installed and I have not tested the built-in GPS. Not too many applications are included, but I am going to download plenty of free available or cheap software. Really the people that criticise that phone must have got a deffective or unit wth old firmware. The Wi-Fi is not a problem in my country where no too many free hot spots are available. When restarting the phone it takes just a few seconds to log on - really fast performer! Please do not comment on this great phone if you have not used it for several weeks. It is difficult to say that it is the best on the market with such string competition, but it is definateley one of the best phones you can buy with good cost/performance ratio. Anyone that needs more info aabout the real time use of the phone can email me at: romrodger@abv.bg.

I bought this phone on pre-order last year and it has driven me insane.
The phone vibrates in my pocket when there is no activity. It froze, said 'jum error' and then permenantly deleted all of my contacts. Video files get jammed and won't delete. Voice quality is poor and quiet. Camera is VGA quality no matter how much you tinker. A ten minute call eats 2 bars of battery and it never lasts more than 36 hours. Despite updating the software it is slow. You can click on one side of the screen and it selects the other. I had a Nokia 6300 before this and wish I still did. An absolute shocker in MY opinion.

Oh...it makes a good ornamant in a goldfish bowl - they love it.

i had this unlocked, using for 2 months last year, and i sold it half the price just to get rid of it. the touchscreen is bad, the software is slow and it lags. not a great phoe to compete with the iphone and the likes. i had the iphone and its way way better and faster and easy to use. if the new storm 9550 has poor touchscreen too then another trash from blackberry.
hey RIM ceo!!! if yo think being unique with your touchscreen makes your phone better, then you suck! eating your pride and making a normal touchscreen will make many people happy with your storm!
if you dont care knowing how many of them are returning the device because of ugly surepress and slow software then you should resign. you are completely useless.

The phone can rub against your face and you turn on mute button accidentally. There are sometimes people call me and i cant hear the phone ringing and vibrate.

I cannot knock Nokia for voice and sound.

I had a storm when it first came out in the UK. First i thought it was the best thing since slice bread. After using it for many months. I am disappointed i done all the updates its slow and lags in the accelerometer and internet browsing. Sometimes the berry has a mind of its own to reboot when it cannot pick up a signal? The camera is poor, the shuttle speed taking photos takes a minute. Photo shots comes out fuzzy and poor. The phone is useless in the dark. My N95 was better for photos.

I should of got the Blackberry bold 9000 or the iphone.
