I heard that there was a noise cancellation system. But I cannot find its specification.
Does anyonw know the access path to get Blackberry specification?

Blackberry is really in the dark world. The phone is over $500 US, but it doesn't have wifi, bluetooth, etc. It is a shame. Just like many cheap phones. In addition, a 3 Megapixel digital camera is a mediocre.

DAM, 30 Jan 2009Damn,ur out of ur league!!If u want to transfer the contact... more...so do I have the right now to say it's crap...?:] We do not have another Blackberry here (thanks god), and the PC suite seems not to connect the phone at all!! so it's useless as well...anyway cheers for the link DAM. I can add this day already to the 'WASTED' FILE since she needs those contacts (it's a matter of life and death,heh)..well, friends...

considering this is the phone that was designed to blow the iphone out of the water and have superior capabilities to all other blackberrys i have to admit i am very very disapointed.
the battery life is increadibly poor, the touch screen is as resonsive as a microwave and it keeps on crashing when ever i use simple functions such as calling, texting, inet, emails- pretty much any application really.
i have had 4 replacements so far for the faulty models with varying faults but so far to no avail.
its lucky im an employee really so i have easy access to my store for the relacements.
i simply wish i had chosen the iphone from the start as most of my friends and colleges have them and they are the smartest and most reliable phones i have seen for a long time (i have been in the buisness for 5 years).
all in all a terrible phone and i wouldnt recommend it to any one no matter what there use or specification request.

DAM, 30 Jan 2009Dumb and really dumb users(no offense intended-just an obse... morefriend Storm's screen doesn't work (half of it is not responding to 'clicking'), it is freezing, battery lasts 4.5 hours and this one is already the replacement phone for the prevoius Storm, which was freezing as well and additionaly the camera was not taking pictures... which was the another replacement for her first Storm which just switched itself off and wouldn't go back on...well, she has the third Storm within 2 weeks time and this one is going to be replaced for another handset...definetely not Storm...so I'm just trying to copy the damn numbers off it to the sim card so she wouldn't have to bother those poor sales assistants in the phone shop...simple:)

Can't say about the Storm(I'll check later thou on sombodyelse's phone) but on Bold(which is pretty similar) u can't do it.U can the other way ,from SIM to Phone. Although I don't understand why u want to copy contacts from Phone to SIM!? The SIM contacts do not support multiple numbers/addresses/e-mail/notes. So if u manage to do it(on other phones is possible 4sure) the contact will be striped of all details and u'll end up with a name(with limited length) and one number. So next time before u yell CRAP think more or ask around.

just to give an example...I've been trying for the past 30 mins to find out how to copy the contacts from the phone memory to the sim card...arrrgghhh:/
Anyone knows?! since the manual is of no help whatsoever

Please helpit depends on what you want to do with the phone, iphone is a multimedia centric smart phone with a bit of business use, while the storm is a more business centric smartphone with some multimedia funtion. Also the biggest difference i guess is do you need your emails the second they arrive or can you wait 15minutes?

I am using a Bold(it's my first BB ever) but as soon as I saw the Storm I wanted to try it.So I bought it for my girlfriend (her old phone was an Iphone).What can I say?She's ecstatic!!She got used pretty fast with the keyboard but unlike me she never had a real qwerty phone before. I'm very happy with the Bold and I advice all BB heavy users to try it .As for the Storm is as good as the Bold but for a different kind of customer..let's say more media oriented.
