John, 25 Nov 2008No Wi-Fi. Oh Oh. Traveling not all countries offer 3G servi... moreYes, i had to agree with John..

I mean, cmon, this BlackBerry Storm is cost a fortune and it doesn't EVEN have wifi??

Yes, it is true we can connect to internet through 3G connection, but what if our provider is having a problem where the internet cannot be access? Who knows right? I mean there's always a chance that our connection is down or having problem..
And we don't have other option to connect to internet such as wifi?? That is so lame..!!

Or perhaps while we going to traveling where other country doesn't provide 3G??

O man, i'm really disappointed by BlackBerry..

I think BB Bold is the best choice for now..

No Wi-Fi. Oh Oh. Traveling not all countries offer 3G service even though you need to pay alot of for 3G. My Guess is BlackBerry made the deal with phone companies to not offer Wi-Fi so consumer pay higher monthly bill.... Sorry BlackBerry wait until you put Wi-Fi on your future model then I think about it to buy. Thanks

Love this Phone ! Got phone last friday and it ROCKS. Had a treo 700p, this phones works quicker, is easier to learn, has not frozen or crashed once. The screen is bright, and the touch screen works quickly and with minimal effort. The phone is solid and is fun too hold. The speaker is loud and the bluetooth reception with my BMW worked on first attempt and is clearer than any other Phone I have used in this car. The email features easy to use, the camera pictures and videos sharp. Better Reception and more bars in the hospital compared to the treo. The SMS fucntion perfect for my needs. Overall the Best Phone I have owned to date, and I have Had many, with a new Phone each two year Contract. Have not had an I Phone because Verizon service through the Hospital. I have not even tried all of the features yet. The GPS works perfectly. The Browser is easy to use and quick. Would reccomend this phone . Dr. A

I have had the phone for 2 weeks… and I really wanted to like it, but it is just substandard. Blackberry have not thought about the core market: high volume business users. This devise slowed me down:

                          My 2 week assessment is:
                          - nice looking phone, but
                          - the battery lasts 6 hours (after a 23 hr charge)
                          - the software is beta at best
                          - the interface is too sluggish
                          - typing is very slow as you will need to retype a single word to get the right letters selected
                          - The push screen is a nice touch, but I cannot see it lasting 18 months as mine is already feeling a little loose (you can move it laterally)
                          - Landscape to portrait (and visa ve) appears not to care which way the phone is held
                          - Can’t wait for a software upgrade as I cannot afford to be incommunicado for the next month and Blackberry have not given it’s customer the respect to tell us what is going on
                          -
… so I’m voting with me feet and sending mine back. SHAME ON YOU BLACKBERRY!

Bold owns this model, any touch screen phone to me is not a proper phone, stop tring to bring out pretty touchy phone and concentrae on the right features like long battery life and a loud speaker PLEASE!!

Now this comment not really on the bold although I am considering getting this phone, More towards all the I-Phone lovers out there............ Now lets be quite frank about this phone IT is not what its cracked upto be a mean come on with any camera phone you buy you ought to be able to send/receive MMS quite easily BUT oh no not with the i-phone have any of you people who are slating this phone for not having wi-fi actually used this phone and experienced how quickly you can browse the web normally? or is this being left out on purpose as this clearly operates surfing the WEB faster than the i-phone! the hands on experience I have with this is that I am a Technially trained Handset Expert (namely I-Phone) for the operating network for this phone in UK and after countless hours playing and using i-phone I personally would not spit on it if it spontaneously combust as feel it would be more use after it had burned than before. I feel that many people are blind to the i-phones downfalls purely for the fact it bears the Apple name and logo now lets be honest let them stick to i-pod nano's and touch as they manage that layout much better! (in other words stick to what your good at!)

what is the matter with all you moaning that the bold has no wifi! The wifi was left out on purpose because blackberry know people would still buy it and when the wifi version comes out people would get rid of the old blackberry bold for the new wifi version. This is called clever marketing and they know they people will rush out and buy it!Just as they did with the iphone 3g.JUST WAIT FOR THE WIFI VERSION IN 2009.
