We got to play around with one at work the other day. The new touch screen is 'marmite' - you either love it or don't. I personally do love it. Other brands will copy it in the future I promise you. No Wi-Fi doesn't matter. The tarrifs over here in the UK for Vodafone start at £35 a month - free phone, 600 minutes, unlimited texts (I'm a huge texter!), unlimited e-mail and internet. Perfect package for me. Does anyone know if you can use MSN messenger on it? Will YouTube be on it as an app, or just online like if you looked at youtube on a PC? Is there an app store available, or will they update it in the future? The guy we had in doing the demo said facebook is on it but some people are saying it's not yet?

i dont know why you all are crying over it not having wi-fi, its internet browser is still good and does the job, the only reason why this should have wi-fi is to make it faster browser, they could have made the camera a little bit better, but i would say this is an awesome phone.

The Storm's successor is coming next May. It'll be a global GSM unit (like the Vodafone Storm) and WILL have WiFi in addition to a number of small improvements over the current Storm. This is confirmed news.

shehzad gadit, 25 Nov 2008no wifi!No Wi-Fi. Oh Oh. Traveling not all countries offer 3G service even though you need to pay alot of for 3G. My Guess is BlackBerry made the deal with phone companies to not offer Wi-Fi so consumer pay higher monthly bill.... Sorry BlackBerry wait until you put Wi-Fi on your future model then I think about it to buy. Thanks

No WiFi? OMG why didnt they put wifi. They could better place wifi instead of 3G. I dont want to have my bill with three zeroes in the end.

wow i just know the storm is out already,,
i really hope my friend will soon get one coz i really looking forward to try this phone..
bb always makes good phones, the bold even makes me fell in love with it on my first sight when try my friend's..
i think this phone is the contender for iPhone (note im an iphone user)
anyone can give any comment about the UI and software performance?
is it buggy? lagging and freezing all the time like other winmo phone (it happened in pro and diamond)
yeah it doesn't support wi fi which is a big downside but see the features guys,, bb features just amazing it very useful for work..
also the screen quality is it good? the bold resolution is just amazing, but it has smaller screen how about this one?
i mean winmo only support 65k, and the screen is very big so how does it perform?
please only people who really use the phone rep this,, i don want to hear crap from people that never even use the phone..

It has not windows mobile so it is not good . because there are a lot of software for windows mobile .

why would you buy a phone first without checking the full specs on it then complain later. you guys are the ones to blame. if you buy it. enjoy it. do not try to compare this unit to other units for each one is different. learn how to use it to your full intelectual enjoyment. most phones with a lot of stuff on it we dont use in the real world. just my 2 cents.

I hate this phone. The touch/press is stupid and the phone in general is not good. BUY A IPHONE it is worth it in so many ways!!!

Touch screen is great. The worst point about it is the battery life, mine dont make it through the day!!!
But this is the nicest phone ive had. Mine is going back for this reason plus it had a little charging problem loose connection but i love it ;)

this phone clicks when you touch it...but is there any feedback(does it vibrate), also would i be able to buy this phone unlocked or is it just for verizon?
