Overall, it is a nice phone. it has a beautiful camera that can be compared to a pocket digital camera. The touchscreen has been improved a lot as compared to storm 2. BUTTT!!! the battery for the phone is bad!! (not as good as blackberry 9700) kinda upset with the performance of the battery.. I think the handset requires big improvement on the battery. Beside that, I am happy with this latest premium blackberry series.

How are you American Torch users finding the battery? I got the UK version and on the first day after 11 hours use the battery was on 50% which I was amazed at.

Actual user feedback such as from Brandon is useful. This thing is like I suspected another storm, in a different case and say what you will but clear at an unsustanable price

Oh ya! the ringer volume is really soft. even if it is adjusted to 10. the reason why the holster is not given, my thoughts is, u can never hear the ringers. really sad. if u are lady, and u have the tendency to place it in your handbag. take it out every 15 mins and check for miss calls. all this are issues that they we are not suppose to be dealing in this century.

I have got it for 2 weeks now and i am greatly sad with it. it was nice the first hour. first the phone still lags. second, u have many new small issues with it like the ringer all went silent and i needed to remove the battery to get it back. As for the OS. it takes u awhile to like it. i am still trying to like it. the key word is trying. the slide menu is very disturbing. and the curve body at the keyboard does rigid the pressing of keys around the edges. but for a phone at this price and it still lags .... my goodness.. i hate to say this but bold 2 was simple phone but far more reliable. still trying to justify that i did the right thing to buy the torch

This is premium pricing which is daft when Android have laid down a major challenge to RIM. Arrogant I reckon to charge top end, which what is surely is. Let's see if the price drops after initial gullible buyers have left the stores.

ive actually had a play with the phone and i can say i love it the touch screen is good, the applications are way faster and tv catch up give it that extra bonus can't wait to upgrade my 8900 to this , any one who is saying it isn't a good handset .. stop lying blackberry for life i work at a phone shop and get to play with near enought every phone out
