whats the matter if my navigator does its own thing and not do what my intentions are...the centre control button unsteady and moves on its own? ps ...also what is the site to download software sothat i can copy and transfer my videos, pics and docs ?? help plse

hi guys i have small doubt and i need help on this i just need any that will help me to unlock the screen or to unlock the phone without using the hardware buttons provided on the top of the phone i need just need a small shortcut to unlock and lock the screen ..

i juz bought torch 9800 ... at first , i so worried about the performance .... but guys , just believe me ,,, its fucking awesome smartphones if u know how tu use well .... i just made a right choices .... say yeahh for TORCH 9800 !!!

The Torch 9800 has the worst battery quality, it can't handle basic internet usage. I pay $76 with Bell and it can't handle internet usage. Such a ripoff.

i have had 8520,9700,9650,9380 blackberry's 9800 is one of the best berry. touch and type, push email,social apps camera , if you are a blogger txter,messenger savvy then use bb!!! so what if few apps from bb do u need thousand apps on your phone LOL blackberry is a messaging social tool!! battery depends on how u used the phone... and this is not a toy!! ios and android they are known for games apps... but you need a smartphone not a gaming console..... dont tell that ios or android are good.... no best smartphones , it is how u used it and the depends on the features of the phone... its a phone/tool not a TOY!!!!!!

there are pros and cons in this 9800/9810 smartphones
pros:
for those who appreciate a larger screen without compromising it while texting torch is one of the best because it has dedicated qwerty keyboard.
it has lot of shortcut keys and has basic buttons for music, which is more convenient.
resolution, fairly good, pictures of 5mp not that stunning but still a good one.
handy. battery life, it goes for a day depends upon how you use it, data associated programs consume most of your battery, its normal for all smartphones.
dont worry about the slide thing, it is well built.
cons:
if you are fascinated by tons of applications and games, BB has limited offer, (they should really work on it), its not the best in it but competent. no secondary camera which also suggests video calling is not supported, likewise skype. however you can still use the chat, which 3rd party apps offer. apps always need to be upgraded, a hassle one.
still... it is a recommended smartphone, and if it fits your lifestyle you will find it one of the best.
9800 vs 9810?
Go for 9810 it is the upgraded version of 9800

torch is good, no problem with slide.

kimee, 26 Jun 2012i use my facebook application in my blackberry torch. but i... moreas far as i know, all applications like FB,twitter etc that you can find in the APPworld needs the BIS and it is activated by local network provider, or you would subscribed otherwise the use of wifi can only be use through browsing. try to log FB in your browser and i assure you 100% you can open the account.
further, without the BIS,applications you download or preinstalled are useless.

the sad thing this phone wasnt really made for gamers, and i agree no skype, (they should really put some effort here) but theres a viber but they need to update.
actually you can use skype through other 3rd party apps like IM+ etc

Anonymous, 01 Jul 2012i hv this one but i think the battery is so bad and i wanna... morehmmm... i can say that the Torch is the same with other smartphones, comparing with battery life, it would just lasts for a day or lucky for 2 days, it depends how you would use the phone, dont browse, dont use 3G, dont do social network or any related data, and i assure you it would lasts longer.
any data related programs will surely consume much of your battery.
