artist, 24 Jan 2012it has 2 main bad things... 1- u can not selectively mark ... moreDear friend...

1) You actually CAN make multiple photos selection. Go the gallery that you want, choose "select" from the menu and you'll notice that each photo (or video) icon will now have a small square in the top left side, from here you can either select the ones you want by touching them or using the track pad to move to each one and pressing it.

2) For the contact save to the memory card, I would not recommend doing this even if you found a third party software that can do it. I have several devices and tried to do that (just for the purpose of checking) and it's a mixed bag result, it works some times (mostly with Nokia devices) and fails many others (Android messes the transfer and iPhone 4S doesnt read the file from the first place). I have also tried doing a bluetooth sync and had the same results (but with the iPhone, is didn't even pair with the BB as a data transfer device). Bluetooth syn also worked with my Garmin car navigator fine, but when I tried to sync with built in car phone it took only the "mobile" number field, the other numbers assigned to the contacts (like the home and office numbers) were skipped. So again, better do it through the computer sync using Outlook or windows contacts as a common ground as many different OS mobiles are communicating with these software better than directly between mobile phones.

I have this phone, and no you can not update it to OS7, also this guy is right. Blackberry Torch 9800 supports only 3.6 MBs HSDPA (high speed download), and it does not support HSUPA (high speed upload). Max speed is arround 300kbs. Informations stated in this review are not correct. Also on official website you can find this:
    Blackberry 9800
    Tri-Band 3G UMTS network: 2100/1900/850/800
    MHz
    Quad-band GSM/GPRS networks:
    850/900/1800/1900 MHz
    3.6 HSDPA

BTW set up the memory cleaning function under options -security - advanced setting - memory cleaning and set the parameters you prefer. I have it set to 20 minutes and idle. This will clean out your memory routinely and ensure a faster unit.

Hello, had this phone for almost a year and its great. Very reliable with very good battery time from the unit. My use I would say is standard (call, internet, email, messaging). I have upgraded the software to the latest 6.0.0.723. This software is very nice. In terms of performance its very solid and fairly quick at tasks. There is the occasional small hang up for a few seconds but its normal this is normal for any smart phone. Camera and video are good quality. You will need to tweak the settings from factory to optimize the battery and software performance just check Google for these tips. I would recommend this phone as a great buy.
