I bought my torch when it was launched in 2011.
I was using it happily not complaining about recharging it twice a day but something funny happened in april 2013.
Went to Germany for a week, quite cold for me and my phone I guess.when I came back to delhi, my poor torch started heating up on 3g so much, I cudnt say which was hotter, the torch in 5mins or my suv 's bonnet after a long drive .
Showed it to the company and some local repair guys.
1 said software issue then backtracked and said software and hardware have no connection ??!!
Got the antenna unit changed, latest software , phone formatted but eventually sold it for 15% of its price. Been crying with the note 2 for the pasy 39 days.no keyboard and slow emails on both 3g and wifi.atleast my bb showed only one or two folders the inbox and sent and I was happy not complaining about lack of folder view and mailbox starting from date of plan activation.
Call me crazy but im hunting for a bb torch 9810 again. No android is worth the bb email and unlimited 3g download plans.
Sorry for the long story but im hurt cz f the tech savvy world.no one cares abt the keyboard now.all hifi ppl.bb now creates chaos with os10.
Hope we all find peace in our phones, one day.
          God bless.

                          Hi All BB users!

Here's some eye opener facts for you and those who have been cribbing lately about not being able to receive emails with BES/BIS Service activated.

We've been doing some in depth research in which are the alternate software's that can be used for a BB device to receive email apart from the default email service. Viola! We just bumped into a software called

                          " LOGIC MAIL "

Its been in the market for a few years, its an awesome email exchange service, which enables the user to receive emails on the BB Device without your BES/BIS or Enterprise service activated, the application runs both on APN based services on BB as well as WiFi.

Some Basic Test of the application were done before we decided to write this on GSM's Forum. They were some limitation to the default email service app on BB, those who received large email attachment over 4mb would know what we are refereeing to, that annoying message about email server cannot show the image or document because its sheer size just got you really crazy, well that's where LogicMail comes handy the application works exactly like the windows outlook receiving large email attachments is no longer a distant dream though a word of caution it doesn't work all that smooth when receiving large attachments. We sent 8.9mb large email attachment to see if it opens up we realized something strange good and bad, good part first: All the text in email looks great its when you click on display full image which includes the attachment we had sent, we realized it would download the entire data of the size of the attachment before it displayed the attachment another negative feature of the application is you cannot view or see the attachment it just gives you the option to store it either on your mobile or SD Card before you can view it.

We'd strongly recommend you have 3G activated on your device before you start send and receiving large email attachments, the best part also happens to be you can click on configuration of the application and choose where you want to store the attachments whether device memory or SD Card, you also have the option of storing it with a different name which is good something we missed in conventional BB email app, For those in Countries like India without 3G you probably want to opt to have WiFi connectivity to download those large email attachment else you'd end-up paying a large fortune for your data usage.

We would also like to inform you all that they are a certain set of email service provider email extensions that do not work well with this application all those who have dotcom email address it works perfectly but those who have live.in or any other extension its not going work for you. And yes you can have upto 10 email activated at any given point of time. (all .com based email service providers.)

Lastly: This application isn't available on BB World use your mobile browser and go to www.logicmail.org/ota you'll notice 3 different version of the application click on the middle update (2.2 or 2.2.0.81) And then watch this video first before you update your details to activate your email service with edge, 3G or Wifi.
