Awesome battery life
I testing battery life on standby.
Started testing at 9am, and the battery life
remaining at 22:30 (13hrs 30mins from start)
is 90%.
Beside bbm you can use this intelligent
smartphone for high tech 21st century door
wedge. And a long life holy battery is very
good, no need to recharge it every week.

carii, 16 Apr 2012Hi, Can someone please help me !!! I'm already using bol... moreThe battery life is better on the 9780 than the 9810. The 9810 is also a different form factor and is running OS 7, which is faster than 0S 6. The keyboard is good on the 9810, but the one on the 9780 is slightly better. The 9810 has a touchscreen and is better for media and web browsing than the 9780. The 9810 does hang from time to time, but all the newer BB models have that issue. As is always the case it comes down to personal preferences.

Hi
Can someone who actually own's this device please tell me:
I have access to a 9800, and see that when texting in portrait view, I am able to use the on-screen alpha-numeric keyboard. Does the 9810 have the same feature?
It might sound like a silly question, however, this feature would make or break a potential purchase of this device.
Regards

natz, 15 Apr 2012Time for an upgrade and thinking abouy buying the blackberr... moreBB isn't big on radios because they are more for getting things done than strictly fun. Most people getting a BB are attracted to them for the security, compressed data, and business functions. With BB OS 6 and BB OS 7 they became much more consumer friendly, but they are still geared more toward business. I love my 9810 because of the compressed data, security encrytion, good reception, and I'm used to it. I am aware of it's shortcomings, but they don't mean much to me. I always tell people that if they want radios and Skype, go ios or Android.
