Disappointment, 27 Apr 2012I renewed my contract February, and decided to go from a ve... moreI feel for you. BB OS isn't for everyone, especially new smartphone users. What I would do if I was in your situation is this. I would sell the BB on EBay or Amazon and use the money to buy a phone more to my liking. You should get some good money for the BB. I would also go to my carrier store and try out some phones to see which I would be comfortable using. Good Luck, hope this helps.

Pls this question goes to all of you here but to our dear Thullraven, I am currently using blackberry torch 9810 running on os 7.0 and am considering upgrading it to os7.1 and my question now is if you in your experience is advising me to go for the upgrade or stick with my os 7.0? What are the major and striking differences between the two os? Does os 7.1 truly come with FM radio?

And is there any difference between the 2g internet in a normal brand phone and in a blackberry.As the cost of internet is much higher for blackberry handsets plans rather than normal plans.

Salman Ummer, 26 Apr 2012Guyz, i m relly confused on these three models: 1) Blackbe... moreIf u wanna enjoyed both 9360 n 9380 with a higher processor n RAM,also the builtin dual microphone give a better clear audio even if u r in noisy place. The large 3.2" display a the slide open Full QWERTY keypad gives u much more better n comfortable in operating the device.

9810 torch2 is the best very fast phone a booting up sending and receiveing email in a quick no iching very nice phone very nice camera

I renewed my contract February, and decided to go from a very basic Samsung (which I hated) to Blackberry. I had to choose between Samsung, and was convinced (by my son) to go Blackberry. Boy, am I regretting that decision. The camera is nice, the video camera is excellent (except the zoom does not work), but for the rest I wasted my money. Unfortunately, I am stuck with it for 2 years. Never again, Blackberry. I find your software difficult to navigate, online support nonexistent, customer focus nonexistant. I even miss my (unloved) Samsung. The only reason I am not putting my simcard back in the Samsung is that it seems a waste to pay for features that are not usable with the Samsung. Boy, did I make a mistake not to go Nokia!!

1) Blackbe... moreJust my opinion, but out of the three you mentioned, the 9810 is the best. It has the best specs, a good touchscreen, and a qwerty keypad.

Mr G, 24 Apr 2012I just aquired the BB 9810...Phone is GR8....but the batter... moreUpdate to the new 7.1 update and you'll see a battery saver mode if you go into options - device. Then leave the battery save mode always turned on and watch your battery life improve!

I have this and I like it. But there's one thing that bothers me. The things appears like a small on my screen sometimes when I click on an app to open. Whenever it appears, it delays what I clicked . Pls anybody here that can give me solution how to stop it. Thank you!

I just aquired the BB 9810...Phone is GR8....but the battery life really sucks....does not even last a complete day....why would you place such a small battery in this phone....thinkin of giving it back :-(

I'm ... moreNot all carriers are releasing 7.1 so if you can't get it from your carrier or BB, try some links in Crackberry.com forum, which is how I got my 7.1 update. Be careful and download at your own risk as some versions of 7.1 are buggy. On my 9810 I'm running 7.1 Bundle 1149, version 7.1.0.342. It seems very stable and I've noticed an increase in battery life and less hanging (but it still does hang occasionally). The hanging issue is a problem with all BB devices on OS 6 and OS 7. It is what it is. Hope this helps.

Hi all, my brother has this phone and it hangs ALOT.
I'm using the 8900 and its still working like a dream after 2 years now.
I'm also planning on getting the 9810, is there a OS 7.1 for this phone??? If so, does it work better with OS 7.0 or better with 7.1??

Mine gave up the ghost after a month and a half's use...was told thatthe motherboard had messed up...had another friend who experienced the same problem...I charged the phone fully...and it just went completely dead...The battery life was very poor...have had to charge it at least thrice in the day...but, considering the numerous apps running on it at the same time, it is to be expected...that aside, it is a brilliant phone to use, and when you subscribe for BBM, you can do loads of things on it, at the same time
