AnonD-53618, 06 May 2012I need to change my bb but dnt know which one to buy.pls u ... moreFirst, you need to decide if you want a physical keyboard since only the 9810 has one out of the three mentioned. The 9380 is like the 9810 without the keyboard. screen size is the same. The 9860 has a bigger screen so media would look best on it. The battery life on the 9860 isn't as good as the 9810.Not sure of the battery life on the 9380 since I never got to use one personally. The 9810 is heaviest, followed by the 9860. The 9380 is lightest.

Anonymous, 05 May 2012Thank you so much for your supports so far on this page Thu... moreI know the links for 7.1 upgrades could be found at Crackberry.com. You might also try BlackberryOS.com. If you backed up your phone, you could do a restore to previous software using Blackberry Desktop. You could also go to Blackberry.com, which has software update links. Your carrier should also have a link for software to show which is the correct software for you. Good Luck

After charging full and I press small thing my battery is down to 90%. Pls what should I do about this because am so pissed now.

[deleted post]My Italian is weak, so i hope you understand this. The battery is the same for both the 9800 and 9810. It does slightly better on the 9800 because the bigger processor and better resolution of the 9810 use slightly more power.

I just bought my first BB9810 for 31 grand.I was using samsung galaxy before on android.I am a big fan of BB and always wanted to own 1.Its the best phone for ppl who have a mix of personal and pro life.its contact management is unmatched with a quality battery life.Is slick and has a classy user interface.Android and iphones are for ppl who just wants to own one.I dont know why ppl ask for radio, front camera, and dont know wht else. These are something which yu r not going to use but thst waht yu just want to have useless. If you are looking for smart, business and good cell go for it.Otherwise just stick to radio phones based on android and apples which you cant eat.. :)\m/

Hils Don, 29 Apr 2012Pls this question goes to all of you here but to our dear T... moreYou have to be careful as some of the 7.1 upgrades are buggy. I can't remember the first one I tried, but I had to go back to 7.0 as after that version of 7.1 upgrade my 9810 would not switch off of 4G, even if I was where there wasn't 4G. That was a major problem. I've since upgraded to a much better 7.1 upgrade. On my 9810 I'm running 7.1 Bundle 1149, version 7.1.0.342. It seems very stable. On every version of 7.1 I can no longer manually switch between 2G and 3G/4G. However, on this version, my 9810 will switch on it's own in weaker signal areas like it is supposed to. I found out that my carrier(AT&T) disables the manual switching feature on the 7.1 upgrade. The 7.1 upgrade gives you a better battery life as it has a battery saver mode you can enable. It also has a diagnostic tool, emergency alerts, and the mobile hotspot feature. AT&T won't let me use the hotspot without a tethering plan (I tried). Some options will depend on your carrier. For example, my friend, who is on T-Mobile, upgraded to 7.1 and can still manually switch network modes as T-Mobile doesn't disable that feature like AT&T does. Other carriers will allow use of the hotspot without an additional charge. I think if you get the right version of 7.1, you'll like it and notice improvements all around. If you do give it a go, just make sure to back up everything first, just in case things go wrong. You can always go back to 7.0. I haven't noticed the FM Radio, but haven't really tried to find it. I do have Pandora and Slacker Radio. I don't use them, though. Hope this info helps.
