Please, does this phone come with full version of the Office suite? I'm always pissed of with the "try premium" message when you want to edit Word documents on my previous blackberry. I hope this is not the case here.

Anonymous, 14 Mar 2012I heard that the white colour of this phone usually peel of... moreNever heard of this, but never checked for it since I don't own that color. My friend does own the white one and has had it for months and hasn't had that problem, but she's the only person I know with a white 9810, so I don't have too much to go by personally.

BB, 15 Mar 2012I don't have BES nor BIS, how can I log in gmail/outlook/fa... moreIt's real easy to set up a BIS email, but if you don't go that route you can always log in to your Email through the phone's browser. Same with Facebook.Be aware that you won't get anything pushed to your phone so you would have to check your email to see if you have anything new.

Jabi, 14 Mar 2012I really wanna buy torch 9810. All I basically do on a phon... moreAll BBs are great at Email, messaging, and Facebook. They were made for that. However,in all honesty, if all you plan on doing is messaging, with some email and Facebook updates, you may want to save some money and get a good feature phone. Just depends on how much internet you'll be using. For me, I need a smartphone because I live on the internet and am constantly doing emails and research.

Anonymous, 13 Mar 2012Have my 9810 4 months now; works great until last week. Pro... moreIt's a normal BB thing to get a delay from time to time, but not like you are having. I had a similar problem about 9 months ago. Turned out that an app I downloaded was eating my cpu and battery life abd I wasn't even using the app. It was pingchat I think. Deleted it and my Torch got back to normal after a battery pull. Sounds like an app is using up your cpu. Try finding out which one it is, delete, battery pull. Hope this helps.

I really wanna buy torch 9810. All I basically do on a phone is text, make or take calls, use internet for facebook and youtube and also listen to music on it, occasionally. I currently have a SE VIVAZ, have had it for a year and its absolutely rubbish, it freezes constantly and sending, recieving and reading texts on it is a work. I like the idea of a BB but I just need to know that if I buy one, I'll be able to perform these basic functions on it well unlike my current phone, nothing too fancy. Any help?

Have my 9810 4 months now; works great until last week. Problem is, the phone lags/delays for approximately 5 seconds when opening an app, or using an app. Anyone has any idea why this is happening? Thanks

Nicholas, 11 Mar 2012Found this in the comment, is it true? Sad blackberry ... moreDon't know what you're talking about. I have multiple emails set up on my Torch, including a Hotmail email account. You can have ANY email pushed. Also, I've owned and used Àndroid and iphone. Both are good and bad. Android is fun but has more holes in their security than Swiss Cheese. Just sold my Android on EBay. The iPhone is fine if you don't mind being bound to iTunes and not being able to put media purchased thru itunes onto other devices. You know, things you PAID FOR but Apple won't let you use on non Apple devices. Not Cool.

Nicholas, 11 Mar 2012Found this in the comment, is it true? Sad blackberry ... moreI wonder why all these things are giving you so much concern. Maybe people dont talk about all the trash you just mentioned simply because they have no need for them. Or is it their fault that they dont need what you need? If android and iphones are better for you, why not stick to them and leave us the hell alone. And for your information in my country, Blackberry subscription is far much cheaper than any other data plan for other phones you can ever imagine.

Sad blackberry os. I though blackberry os is good for business but its actually not. Famous on email? Not at all!
I have more than 5000 emails in my hotmail, and there is not option for me to set up a microsoft exchange hotmail account with this 9790. I need 5000 of this emails to be sync everyday with a push mail functionality like my s2 and iphone 4.
Blackberry famous in push mail? What a joke, my iphone and android phone can push my mail easily with a microsoft exchange account, you can set any email like yahoo, gmail, hotmail etc with microsoft exchange.
Dont ask why i need all of my mails to be in my phone, my emails is my data base, i store all my conversation and quotation in my email server and i can search it even in offline mode.
I am very surprise that none of the peoples who using blackberry have this problem. I even went to blackberry service center to ask this and they dont even have a solution for me.
Blackberry, push mail? Android and ios can do this easily. BBM? Whatsapp can do this perfectly. What else does blackberry offer? Nothing at all for me.
Blackberry is famous because its launch and telling consumer is a business phone at first, consumer thinking of a business phone is great but i want you all to know that you are wrong. Blackberry os is no way in comparing to android and ios not even the old symbian.
Dont try to be a follower that seeing other using blackberry and you want it too, you will just make your life difficult.
Try do a research in the web MICROSOFT EXCHANGE FOR HOTMAIL IN BLACKBERRY, you will get none of it.
Surprise that no one mention this to the community, means that you only need your daily current mail, how about you old emails for example year 2005 emails which are very important?
SHAME ON YOU BLACKBERRY. One more thing, blackberry needs additional charges in BIS AND BES to enjoy full functionality, not including a data usage. You have to pay extra to get what? BBM AND PUSH MAIL? Lol, i need a cheap data plan to get all of this done perfectly.
Good luck guys, think before you switch.

The encrytion security. Compressed data, and good signal strength are why I like my 9810. Also, all BB phones excel as business and Email phones. The other features, other OS like Android can do just as well or better. BB App World is getting better, but is waaaaay behind Apple and Android as far as sheer volume. Hope this helps.

I like the 9810 because I like the keyboard and touchscreen. The three you mentioned are sort of like the same phone in different form factors. I know the 9810 doesn't support NFC, but aside from form, that's the only major difference.
