Love dis phone it lighter n faster, pic qualities is great I does what I wants it to, my problemn is it freeze up a bit too much! Can RIM out phones with radio plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz we waiting like forever!

Well pleased with my 9800 but have 12 months remaining on my contract. Probably one of the best phones I have used so will be upgrading to this soonest - the other phone, I hear you ask, which was brilliant was a Samsung D260 - still doing fantastically after 8 years, where their new products (Omnias) completely failed)

I love this phone. Performance wise...it was really fast when downloading application. I just hope the track pad & the slider won't get busted easily.

I have a 9800 and the 1.2ghz processor,together with upgraded O/S system 7 and hiigher resolution make a very good phone even better.The keyboard is very good despite all the comments to the contrary.If you are into texting,networking this is a brilliant phone. Get a Seidio clamshell belt case plastic and you have a very strong,compact,capable,sophisticated communications device that works very well with the Playbook.

i just bought this phone in exchange for a bold 2 in thailand for about 11500 batt more which was a steal i think. i love this phone and it even looks awesome and does everything i want it to do ,

I've had this for a few weeks now, the battery on this is pretty decent. I listen to music, a lot of web browsing, lots of sms and bbm and it lasts me till night. The lag issue just started, but if you power cycle your phone every 2 days, itll be fine. The only complaint i have is that BB OS 7 is boring compared to iOS and android. Yes the browser is smooth and it is truely smoother than the old torch, but thats already been achieved by many andriod devices and apple a few years ago, its nothing to brag about *cough* liquid graphics *cough*.
If you like sliders and is a blackberry fan, then this would work for you. If you expect more than a days use (heavy usage) then look for something else. Bottom line is that this phone works smooth, but its nothing special compared to the competition.

I initially wanted the Spice, but it was not available in the US. Got the Torch and was very happy. The Spice has a better antenna and better call quality, but not by much. The Torch is better everywhere else, most especially with the camera and battery life. I've heard the Spice has horrible battery life. IMHO, both phones copied the Palm Pre line of phones, which were out well ahead of either of these.

This phone is copy of Motorola Spice XT 300. Black berry i didnt expect you to copy design from Motorola.
You should change your name from RIM--[RESEARCH IN MOTION] TO CIM--[COPY IN MOTIONS].

Anonymous, 12 Oct 2011What the battery life like compare to other BB phones?The battery life isn't good compared to other Blackberry models but better than a lot of other smartphones. I can get a through day on a full charge with moderate to heavy use. I miss the battery life of my old feature phones.
