Xyz, 04 Sep 2011Hey guys I want a new phone...i am a daily user of messagi... moretruely.. i have both... galaxy s i9000 (not s2) and blackberry 9810... perfect for me.. 9810 is perfect 9800.. (who have experienced using 9800..)

Go for 9810..... I bought one yesterday and it is really awesome.... big screen, good camera and perfect in social networking + push notifications.... 9900 has a smaller screen which i dislike it.....

@how did you know- features are pretty much the same. It's just that the 9810 has a bigger processor and better screen.I also heard that all the OS 7 phones have NFC capabilities but I don't know that for a fact as it isn't anything I have tried.The 9810 is slotted as 4G and it is fast. @Jo-I had heard through various forums that I visit that the QNX phones are supposed to be out early 2012. IMHO, I believe OS7 is the watered down practice run of QNX. Time will tell.

@BBFan-I didn't use the loudspeaker much on the 9800 nor do I use it much now on the 9810, but from what I've heard from personal use they sound about the same.They're both quite good, but I still think my old RAZR2 is louder. As far as battery life goes, they appear to be about the same.

vic, 29 Sep 2011wat do mean by for fun u can buy ........jofor fun: if you primarily stick on its amusements, video with higher quality of screen, internet browsing, games, photo and video editing, then go with 9810.
If you're only interested in its email and messaging: keep your 9800 in your hand.

OK. Here's the scoop between the 9800 and the 9810 as I have experience with both. I wrote a post some time ago about if it was worth it to upgrade from the 9800 to the 9810. What I said then still stands for the most part, but I shall update now that I really have quality time with the 9810 under my belt. If you are under contract with the 9800, no it is not worth it due to cost. If you are due for an upgrade, it depends on what you do with the phone. If you are a heavy web surfer as I am and like videos, then it is definitely worth it. If you're not a heavy web user and video watcher, then no it probably isn't. Let me tell you about the 9810 and you can decide. The 9810 is very fast at loading web pages, even faster than my iPod Touch. The screen resolution is better, but that doesn't matter if you aren't a video watcher. I have experienced minor glitches in OS 7 such as when I bring up picture files it might scroll on it's own. Very minor. I never have experienced any of the major problems others have stated, and I have had the 9810 almost as soon as it came out. If you all recall, the OS 6 software had glitches when it was first introduced but updates took care of that, just as future updates probably will address any stability issues in OS 7. You notice the better processor and OS mostly with the internet. The design IMHO is better on the 9800. The back of the 9810 doesn't feel quite as solid, although it really doesn't matter to me as I have a custom skin and cover on my 9810(I like my phones to be unique). Also, I want to point out something. A lot of my apps, games,and custom themes don't work on the 9810 because they are not compatible with OS 7. Hopefully, that will change over time. If you want an app heavy phone, go elsewhere entirely as BB App World doesn't compare to Android or especially the Apple App Store. in short, if you own a 9800 and are under contract, do not spend all that money for an almost identical phone. The thrill of a quick browsing experience will wear off fast when you remember all the money you dropped to get it. If you are due for an upgrade,can get the 9810 cheap (as I did), and are a web surfer, you will appreciate the 9810. I got my 9810 because I had a line due for an upgrade and I am not switching carriers. If I couldn't get it cheap, than I would have just waited for the BB QNX phones instead. Anyway, I hope this helps someone reading this. Any questions, just ask as I check this forum frequently.
