I am a big fan of BlackBerry...I started with 8520 curve and till last week was owner of Black Berry Torch till I lost my Black Berry..Feeling very disappointed as after spending so much on my Black Berry could not trace my phone after providing my BB PIN and IMEI no..Very strange but true..I request BB company to introduce a cell which can be used only with one SIM n people are forced to return the phone to the owner without any greed . This way v can control corruption n theft..

I am a fan of blackberry i started curve 8520. Now i have torch 9800. Im planning to change phone. 9900 or this one 9860. Im afraid got getting 9860 simply because i tried storm 1 and it sucks! Im afraid that this 9860 is like the old storm 1.hopefully not...

im a bb fan. i have like almost all of the bb units out in the market including those ancient phones without cam. i got my 9860 3 months ago and so far the only issue is the battery so i purchase a spare battery problem solved. everything is delivered as promise. im very happy with bb 9860.

Im really shocked at the below comments - surely as a smartphone user you people can identify the qualities in this handset - its unfortunate that one of you has recevied a faulty handset but is that not usually how it goes - like the notorious Apple I Phone - 1st and 2nd batches of the hadnsets released are gaurenteed to have numberous faults.
I finally got my hands on this after months of waiting and I am extremly happy with my purchase. Everything promised is delivered.

I bought a Blackberry Torch 9860 on 9th January 2012. The phone had a lot of issues like (1) Incoming calls did not ring (2) Nothing was audible to me nor the person I call while the call was connected (3) Phone used to hang frequently (4) Applications like camera, map & video recorder did not work. My complain was registered by Reddington India on 19th January 2012, they reinstalled the Blackberry Operating System 7.0.0.296, platform 5.0.0.496 and assured me the phone will work fine if it dosen't then I will be given a new phone as replacement. The issue with my phone was NOT resolved, I informed Reddington India that the problem with my phone is not fixed and they provided me a Delivery Order for a new Blackberry 9860 from the same retailer. I got a new Blackberry on 30th January 2012. It was horrible to encounter the same issues with my new replacement phone too, the same problems were in that phone too. There was absolutely no problem with my SIM card or service provider because I checked it on a different phone. I was completely disappointed with this Blackberry product. The phone malfunction got me into personal and professional misunderstandings as I missed calls. I needed a phone I can rely on, I was sick and tired of running to the service center and asked the retailer to give me a different phone other than blackberry. My sincere advise buy HTC, Samsung or Apple in the same price but never Balckberry cause Balckberry SUCKS.

First of all I'd like to say that I'm a BB fan. I had the awful Storm 2 before which was terrible and I was about to switch over to android. I decided to give RIM another chance with the 9860 and have to say that I'm well pleased.
It's an excellent phone all round with one exception: the battery on mine doesn't quite stay in place and if you put the handset down a bit too firmly the bottom edge of the battery edges out slightly causing the phone to re-boot!
I have cut a bit of card and placed it inside the back cover to keep it snugly in place, so no more battery slip-outs!
Good work overall RIM, I'd give the phone 9.5/10.

maybe u have to many things stored on the phone this is y it keep on crashing u need to store all your stuff on your sd card and leave the phone memory as free as possible remember this phone only have 4 gigs of intinal memory so delete all the apps or stuff u donot need and then reboot the phone and u will c this phone is fine.9860 blackberry torch feb 13 2012

1.2 Ghz QC means Qualcomm not quad processor, no BB has put quad processor yet..

i am having issues with this phone receiving calls, the light flashes but it doesn't ring, also when i answer i hear nothing and the otherside hears nothing, i too have to remove/replace the battery then it seems to work okay, does anyone know if this has anything to do with apps that have been downloaded???

AnonD-39361, 25 Jan 2012My BB Torch 9860 is still under warranty and I called BB au... moreI am having issues with this phone too! I have had mine for 6 weeks and it started turning itself off for no apparent reason and I have to take the battery out and put back in to get it to work again. Then it comes back on and tells me invalid sims card. I take the battery out and it works again. It now won't turn back on at all. I had it replaced through warranty received 2 days ago and the new one is doing the same thing. They did not replace the battery only the phone and replaced it with a refurb on top of that. I don't appreciate paying that much for a phone and getting refurb phones back. I bought a brand new one.
I am a die hard blackberry user, but this one is not worth it. I don't like the keyboard or the speed of this phone either. Don't waste your money. I am now stuck with refurbs and repalcements for a phone I bought brand new from At&t for the next 2 years.

Ive got this mobile for about 2 months and now i seen that it is slowing quite alot! i deleted most of the apps i had to try and speed it up but it seems dnt my efforts have failed! i tried checking the applicatiion memory status and the fone get completly frozen at this point.... please help(-_-)

its lookin good...vs iphone4s.......many peoples says abt bb..its difficult 2 use.i dnt know but m purchase bb 1st time ....nd happy 2 use..smooth touch....really good..
