You need to clean the terminals of your battery and charge it while in the phone with a full voltage and not with a generator. It will work.

Omg, it has the worst battery ever and it does not check balance nor recharge. Only if u use airtel line, dats wen bal can be checked.

dean, 11 Jun 2013i turned off my blackberry 9630 and then removed the batter... moreWhen you put in the battery and a red light shows up at the top then its not the battery.it could either b the circuit board or the battery terminals.if the red light doesn't appear,then its the battery.its better to take it to an experienced blackberry technition.
