You should goto Options –>Mobile Network and make sure Data Services is turned ON.
Secondly while at Mobile Network, press the blackberry menu button click on Diagnostics Test, press the Blackberry menu button again and click Run! it will do some processes and you should be able to check your account balance afterward with no issue.

i turned off my blackberry 9630 and then removed the battery to clean it. when i returned it it failed to start, no longer shows anything just a blank screen. what may be the problem

One of the best phones that blackberry has release .... If it could be upgraded to OS 7 and if it had. Wifi then this is one of the best phones ever

pls my bb tour is no longer operetable since it was abandoned for a long time, only d trackball roles d date setting option dat managed to appeared on my screen, nothing else. Pls should I flash d fon or what. I need ur advice.
