so i will suggest take of the battery for 5 10 minutes and then put it back, this should resolve the issue, but you need to have some patients there noting wrong with phone or battery..

I have used BBM video Chat with Z10, it works perfectly fine...

there are sever things affect battery life, one major cause is, location, where you stay maximum time, in that area if signal is weak then you battery consumption would more because you mobile keeping on serching better signals. this is major issue with all mobile handset in market,
TIP to save battery - 1)keep the brightness minimum, 2) Switch on Wifi, Bluetooth & NFC, as and when required 3) restart your mobile before your day starts or in night ( this will kill the unnecessary CPU process running for long time) 4) charge the battery in flight mode ( battery charges faster) 5)always charge you phone with laptop or desktop (this will increase battery life)6) If you are not using map / GPS frequently then switch of location services ( when ever you move with phone, your phone try to find out new location it consume more battery)
this should help for long lasting battery

Highly doubt that any mobile will last that long (10 hours, as per your 3g surfing etc) which is as good as z10 or better.
