hi friends, i am going to buy z10 in next one or two days, but want to clarify certain minor things:
1) does it support OTG (on-the-go) ? means can we attach pen drive to z10 ?
2) how is the performance while running android apps ? does it lag or hang ?
3) i know the ppi of z10 is just awesome, but does it retain its sharpness & crispness of screen till long or the pixels gets distorted after much use ?
4) how is the speaker performance while playing songs, videos & while making or receiving calls ? is the sound crystal clear ?
5) does the internet work while we are on call ? as the internet in most devices of android stop working once they call someone or attend the call.
plz help me answer my questions. thanks in advance.

I... morehey...i m living in Ranchi, India, i have bought Z10 in Dec'2013 and OS version was 10.1 that time,i have upgraded to 10.2.1.537 it works very smoothly, battery life is longer and no heating problems after OS Up gradation. In fact i hvn't seen any problem after i have upgraded it to 10.2
->when you upgraded OS to 10.2 you are able to directly download and install almost all apps from Android world through "Snap(A client for Android Apps for Blackberry OS 10)"
->Yes Asphalt8, Subway sufers, Temple run2...all works very smooth on my Z 10 and i have not faced any hardware problem yet.
->you can use Airtel 3G plans. i m using Aircel 3G Plans(even Special Dongle Plans 447-6GB 3G Data works fine for me)
i am loving my Z10 and BB10 OS. This is the best phone i have seen in every aspects...

aman, 07 Mar 2014are u sure normal gprs pack will work on z10 have u used it... moreyes, it works very smoothly, i m living in Ranchi and Aircel 3G plans even special Plans for Dongle(447-6 GB 3G Data+Unlimited 2G Data)works fine for me...no extra plans needed!!!

After updating to 10.2.1.2102 here in the Philippines, everytime i open the bb world, I can't access it. The error message says that "there is an issue with blackberry world. Blackberry world must now close."
Is this normal??

i hv some questions.
are the new bbz10 in india are coming with 10.2.1 updated os version we have to update them manualy after purchase?
what are the SLT-100,200,300 etc.?
what the work and need of nfc?
if anyone has got new bbz10 with 10.2.1 os then is there any problem coming out in dat. ?
plz users guide me as im using lumia 520 now and wanna switch to z10.

my earphones wont work when i play music. it still plays in my phone's speaker not in my earphones but when someone is calling me i can hear their voices in my earphones. how will i let my earphones work in music?

i want ask about something
when i charge my phone the charging sign(golden color) still blinking even though its 80 or 90%
and when i turn off my phone and put it on charger the red led blinking all the lenght of the charging time
is that normal???

Just bought this phone online from shopblackberry.com for $299 USD. Unlocked. Upgraded from Iphone 4S. So far I'm loving this phone. Especially the typing keyboard for text messages. Call quality seems clearer and crisper than on my iphone 4s. Any apps not available in Blackberry world were on Amazon app store (Android). Worked fine once I rebooted the phone after downloading the amazon app store. The iphone 8 megapixel camera seems to take clearer photos than the bberry 8 megapixel camera which is weird. Future phones should have a better camera (minimum 12 megapixel). You can assign songs in your music library for ringtones for voice calls, texts, emails, etc... Iphone 4S never had this option. The iphone 4S battery needs to be charged throughout the day just like the Z10. I know the Z30 has a much bigger battery but I couldn't refuse the sale price of the Z10. You can't go wrong getting an unlocked premium smartphone for $299.

cost is dropped. this phone comes in range of 17500-17900. security wise best phone till date. Exhangeable Battery with Strong Specs!
Security is a must, now days.
Keyboard is a time saver! so are gestures!
Browsing is amazingly fast! I love the reader feature

Abhy..thank you very much for the very useful information. Also, wanted to confirm does USB OTG work on Z10 after upgrade to version 10.2.0.424 as wikipedia shows (BB OS 10 article) that USB host capability is added with this upgrade. As such if it is not there, it will not put me off buying it but was just curious. Also, are there any model variants which have/do not have 4G? Again, not really that interested in 4G for now, but if it is there would be great.
Also wanted to know about running android apps (runtime). Which apps can or cannot be run in this runtime?
